Andrew Ong’ombe Mogeni

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will chat we announce the demise of Andrew Ong’ombe Mogeni, which occurred on 26th July 2025.

He was the son of the late Joe! Mogeni Gesembe and the late Pens Nyang’ara Mogeni.

He was husband of Mellen Nyaboke and father of Evans Ogaro, Everylne Kemuma, Geoffrey Oira. Joseck Ondieki and Nancy Kemunto.

He was a dear brother of Robinson,Aristarcus, Nelson, David and Chris, Sarah, Sibia, Grace, Isabella, Zipproah, Joyce, Mellen and Roselyne (Njeru).

Son-in-law of late Ongera Siro and late Patriciah Kemunto. He was the brother-in-law of late Mose, Pacificah, Ong’ondi.

He was Korera of Lawrence Gichana, Jane Monyangi, Joseph Mokaya, Teresa Mokaya, Aristarico Omariba and Eunice Kwamboka.

He was the father-in-law of Nehemiah Mokaya, Nelson Omariba, Zipproah Gichana and Cynthia Kerubo.

His uncles include Bwonda, Pastor Ikobe, late Nyangicha, Okebiro, Ateka, Onchwari, Mabururu and Monyancha.

His aunties include Heilenna, Askah, late Kebiriati, Mokua, Nyaera and Mi!kah.

He is grandfather of Synaidah, Ivy, Marion, Lindsey, Ian, Hifack James, Lizzy Nyaboke, Nelson Junior, Ivan Andrean and Jade Joy.

The cortege leaves Herm. Funeral Home on 7th August 2025 for burial on 8th August 2025 at his home-in Nyagesenda Village, Nyabworoba Sub-location, Sensi Location, Marani Sub–county, Kisii County.
