It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved Mzee Baldwin Mwakughu Mwangoji.
He was the son of the late Constance Mboli Mwangoji. Brother of Leah Chao Mwangoji.
Loving husband of the late Hon. Joyce Bahati Mwangoji. Loving father of Kilimo Mwangoji, the late Kubo Mwangoji, Connie Mwangoji, Jedidah and Michael Sagini, Mwacharo Mwangoji, Maghanga Mwangoji, Tayo and Celestina Mwangoji. Adored grandfather of Ndemo Sagini, Joyce Sagini, Rachel and Vane Zulu, Joyce Kubo, Bahati and Luke Alderman, Baldwin Mwangeini, Loraine Sagini, Mathenge Mwangoji, Francien Sagini, Nashon Mwangemi, Bahati Mwangoji, Uriel Mwangoji, Brian Maghanga, Kulola Mwangoji, Joy Maghanga and Connie Maghanga. Great grandfather of Jedidah Sagini, Zuri Zulu, Cairo Alderman, Laleti Sagini, Neo Alderman and Joshua Amani Zulu.
Brother-In-law of Hon. Mwacharo Kubo, Mwazighe Kubo, Joram Kubo among others.
Cousin of the late Rogers Mawalla, Evelyn Mwaie, Isaac Mbogho among others.
In-law of the late Hon. Dr. Lawrence Sagini, the late Mama Mary Nyaboke Sagini.
Friends and family are meeting daily at Ngei Phase 1, Hse No. 81 from 5pm.
The cortege with leave Montezuma Funeral Home, Nairobi on Thursday 8th January 2026 at 7.3oam. Funeral service will be held at Kidaya-Ngerenyi Social Hall Grounds on Friday 9th January 2026 at 10 am and followed thereafter by the internment at his home in Kidaya-Ngerenyi, Taita-Taveta County.
