It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Bevan Okach Macoyamo of Kisumu, Migosi Estate, which occurred on 7th June 2025 after a short illness.

Son of LP Macoyamo Commissioner of Prisons (County Prison’s Commander, Homabay County) and the late Eunice Macoyamo.

Son in-law of the late Eng Masha Kazungu and Frida Ogwaii.

Loving husband of Daniella Riziki Masha.

Grandson of the late Mzee Peter Okach & Mama Monica Okach, and the late Mzee ElijaPaul Oyamo and the late Mama Joyce Oyamo.

Brother of Victor Macoyamo (Kenya Prisons-PSTC) & Spouse Millicent, Vance Deejay, Mercy Macoyamo, Alvan Macoyamo (Maranda High), Neville Macoyamo, Leonell Macoyamo and Cidella Salome. Uncle of EuniceLina.

Nephew of Peter (deceased) & Spouse Margaret, Alicia, Dorcas, Salome (deceased), Prisca, Mary (deceased), George, Meshack & Spouse Petra, Lucas & Spouse-Mariana, Gordon, Joseph and Lucy Okatch & Spouse Michael.

Cousin of Antonina, Paul (deceased), Evance, Benard, Phelemon, Nancy, Liz, Sarah, Elijah, Joan, Winnie, Caroline, Zena, Wilmort, Charlie, Cyril, Ochuonyo (deceased), Awuor (deceased), Teresa (deceased), Felix, Monica, Velena, Meshack (deceased), Agnes, Onoka, Apamo, Kevin, Daisy, Larissa, Belinda, Michael, Queen, Ronny, Edel, Atis, Edmund, Zilpa, Odhis and Arnold.

The cortege will leave Star Mortuary Ogango in Kisumu on Friday 27th June 2025.

Funeral Service and burial will be held at his father’s home in Rangala Village, Ugunja sub-county, Siaya county on Saturday 28th June 2025.
