It is with deep sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Bishop Pr Rose Wambui Kuria (Mama Gathoni) which occurred in the morning of Sunday 16th November 2025 while seeking treatment at Coptic Hospital.
She was loving wife of Emmanuel Kuria Wa Gathoni. Dear mother of the late Carolizanne Gathoni Kuria, Catherine Njeri Robinson and Alex Wainaina Kuria,
She was grandmother of Charise Wambui Kuria, Jasmine Robinson, Emmanuel Kuria Wainaina among many others. Great grandmother of Zola Kuria.
Loving daughter of the late Mwalimu Peter Kamuiru and Ruth Njeri Kamuiru. Dear sister of the late Julius Maina, Stephen Maina (USA), Simon Maina among many others.

Meetings are being held daily at Homeland-Thika Road from 5.30p.m
The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home, Mbagathi on Friday 2Ist November 2025 at 8.00 am for burial ceremony at her home in Kagaa, lria-ini, Limuru.
