Captain Wilfred Peter Njuki ‘Joe’ Kehara

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Captain Wilfred Peter Njuki `Joe’ Kehara formerly of Kenya Air Force, Kenya Airways Chairman Rubani SACCO, former Chairman Kenya Railway Golf Club.

Beloved son of the late Peter Kihara & Esther Mboo.

Loving husband of Grace Sagina Kihara. Doting father of Elaine Esther, Arthur & Leah Kihara & Alfred James Ngunyi. Doting grandfather of Angel Eathan & Melissa Castillo, Njuki & Neema Kihara. Great grandfather of Alinah Castillo.

Brother of the late Hannah Ngima, the late Major (Rtd.) James Ngunyi, Grace Mwenje, Purity Muthoni, Symon Kihara, the late Millicent Sambu, Agnes Kihara, the late Douglas Wachira.

Son-in-law of the late Alfred Nzalwa & Abigail Jaluha Kimiywe. Brother-in-law of Prof. Judy,Wilfrida, Joseph, Bishop Ken & Joy, Violet & Enock Mohol, Col. (Rtd.) Edwin Mboya, Pamela, Caroline Kimiywe.

Brother-in-law of the late Gathondu, the late Leah, the late Mwenje, Kahia, Susan, Sambu, Wambui. Uncle to many.

Meetings are going on at Avenue Park 2, from 5.30pm.

The funeral fundraising will be held at All Saints Cathedral in Nairobi on Friday 3rd October 2025 from 5.00pm – 8.00pm. You are welcome.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday 7th October 2025 at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi at 12 noon.

The cortege leaves Nanyuki Cottage Hospital on Friday 10 October 2025 at 9.00am. Thereafter, funeral service and burial to take place at the family home, Ragati Farm, Nanyuki
