A Life Well Lived

Our beloved Chris left us on this day. What you left us with are memories of love, trust and words of wisdom and encouragement. I still can’t bear the loss and pain of your passing and why the Lord had to take you away at such a tender age. We had great plans together which the Lord blessed every step of the way. You loved your children and grandchildren in the USA and they miss your love, humor and great knowledge on any subject on this universe.

To us you were not just our father you were our friend, confidant and our safe haven. Your spirit still lives with us. We will still keep your love for others and legacy as a symbol of strength. We love you and miss you dearly daddy/grandpa. You loved your brothers and sisters and always preached and enforced love, unity and progress. You always had passion to ensure that the generational line always succeeds and we shall forever be grateful for all your hard work and love for us.

You shall forever remain engraved in our hearts. Rest in peace Esmeralda!

1st Anniversary 

Sunrise:5th Oct. 1970 – Sunset:6th Nov. 2019

On this 1st anniversary, our hearts break with the thought of never seeing you again. Dad, despite the heartache, your unending love is our stronghold and the pillar which binds us together. Death ends a life but not a relationship and with that, your never ending presence continues to reverberate in our lives. The wisdom you gave, lessons you taught and most importantly the love you shared shall stay with us forever and you will always be in our hearts and minds. We truly and will always love you.

Dearly missed by your loving wife Lucy Wanjiku, son Fredrick Waithaka, daughters Sherlyn Nyambura and Peace Ann Karii, your loving mum Naomi Nyambura and all your siblings and friends.

Because you our loved one is in heaven, a piece of heaven is in our home.

20th Anniversary

“A great soul serves everyone all the time. A great soul never dies. It brings us together again and again”.

Twenty years is such a short duration for someone we cannot erase from our lives. I thank God as we celebrate the life shared together while you were in this world. Thank you dad, for you gave me identity in this world. You didn’t tell me how to live; instead you lived, and let me watch you do it You created a rich legacy for everyone.

Days, weeks, months and years have now turned to 20 years since your untimely departure.

Remembered today and always by your husband Raphael, children Faith and Francis, your brother David, sisters Carol, Christine and Maureen, your nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

May the Almighty grant unto your soul eternal rest till we meet again.

10 Years Later…

In loving memory of Joseph Muriuki Gitau whose 10th anniversary occurs at this time. We are all blessed to have shared the life of a great and peaceful man And on this anniversary we celebrate Joe for having been a wonderful husband, father, Guka, brother, mentor and friend. We are thankful for all the memories we shared together but often wish he was here to make more. Not a day goes by that we don’t think about Joe. We wish we still had his wisdom to guide us through our everyday, While every day without Joe has been hard, 10 years later we can’t help but think how much we wish he was here with us.

However, as much as we hate not having Joe around, we are happy to know that he is at peace. While he may not be with us any more, our love for him will never die and deeply, we know this, that love triumphs over death.

Joe continues to be loved, and therefore he remains by our side. We are extremely grateful to God for His love, care and the way He has continued to provide for all our needs and knit us together as a family. We also appreciate family members and friends who have walked with us over the years.
