There are now a host of grandchildren, (some who “arrived” when you had “left”), who cherish the memories they have heard about you and are keeping your name high, including Abdullahi Okhaso; Halima Wasabo (Care International Kenya, Daadab); Rama Hamisi; Ali Ongoro; Yusuf Onjala; Ummi Nechesa Amasakha (Masinde Muliro University); Idris Okumu (Royale Café Mumias); Ernest Makholo (Flight Instructor Akagera Aviation, Rwanda); Jamila Akechi (Catholic University of East Africa); Tutaya Muyia (Braeside School); Amira Wesonga and Nureen Wangui (International School Moshi, Tanzania); Caro Wasabo Ndung’u; Lewis Sambuli (KDF, Kahawa Barracks); Rajab Omwande; Lewis Ochwila (JKUAT); and Belinda Chebet among others.

For the whole Odenyo Lineage, our minds hold the memories, our hearts keep the love, and our faith lets us know that we will meet again.

It has been six years since you went to be with the Lord. We have no doubt you are in that heavenly paradise that guarantees eternal happiness.

Though we miss you and your great attributes of love, humility, kindness, and generosity, we have trudged on with life because of God’s mercy and grace.

A year has passed since you left us. We think of you today as we have always done, your life was truly a blessing. Our love to you is eternal and we know that you walk unseen beside us every day, unheard but always near, still missed and loved dearly.

It’s been 3 years since your young life was cut short by the cruel act of a drunkard. Though gone in body, your spirit remains part of our lives as you will forever be in our hearts.

Your legacy continue to keep humanity bursting in new hope everyday, from former street children to many other destitute cases supported through BRIAN KIAMBATI FOUNDATION as we continue to embrace your mantra of Inspiring The Future Today.

Greatly missed by your family, friends and many others who were fortunate to share a moment of your 21 years.

50th Anniversary

On this day 50 years ago, The Nation lost a Hero. The Warriors lost a Defender. The Cabinet lost a Minister. The Wife lost a Husband and The Children lost a Father.

Today we celebrate this Man. Who he was, what he stood for and the ideals he believed in: as relevant today, as they were when he died.

We invite you to join us in remembering C.M.G. Argwings-Kodhek at the Holy Family Basilica, Nairobi at 2 p.m. today, the 29th of January 2019.

There will be a wreath laying ceremony at the graveside on Saturday 2nd February, 2019 at 3 p.m.
