In Loving Memory/1St Anniversary

It’s hard to believe that one year is over since you left us. It never gets easier, the pain of your departure is immeasurable. Though you are physically gone your spirit and presence is still with us and we continue to cherish you. To some you may be forgotten, to others a part of the past but to us who loved and lost you, your memories will always last.

We rest in glorious assurance that you are in a better place, where there’s peace and happiness lovingly watching over us. We not only remember you today but everyday, the good times we had together, the bond we had as a family your laughter and your advises which left us happy at all times.

At home you were a loving husband, best dad and we miss you.

Fondly Remembered Ten Years On

It is hard to believe that it has been ten years already since you went to be with the Lord. Some days it feels like it was just yesterday, other days like you’ve been gone forever. The gap you left in our lives can never be filled but we continue to be comforted and strengthened by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and by the fond memories of all the years that we were privileged to have you with us.

You are greatly missed, loved and cherished by your children Bernard Makumi, Joseph Ng’ang’a and Caroline Wangui.

Mom, continue resting with the angels and with our beloved brother Gabriel.

1St Anniversary & Appreciation

The entire family of the late Mzee Peter Makokha Maina gives their appreciation to the Almighty God for his life and for the time we lived with you. We remember you as a man who never looked for praises but who quietly loved and worked for those he loved the most, his family.

You were a firm example and foundation for your children and your legacy will live on. Sadly missed, and quietly remembered every day. No longer in our life to share, but always in our hearts. Fondly missed by your wife, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sons and daughters in law.

Our appreciation to the entire Friends church Quakers-Nairobi yearly meeting and its affiliates, family, friends, neighbors and colleagues for your immense support.

A requiem service will be held on 19th June 2021 at his home in Samtsi village, West Kabras Division, Kakamega County.

Unveiling of the Cross

It has been one year since “Mama J” left us to be with the Lord on 18th June, 2020. We thank God for the years and memories we shared, and remember her as a loving wife and cherished mother, sister, aunt, cucu and friend to many. A woman of great faith, exceptional humility, grace, and loving kindness.

There will be a Memorial Service & Unveiling of the Cross ceremony to be held at the family Tubania Farm, Kimathi Location, Nyeri County on Friday, 18th June, 2021, starting from 11.00am. Due to the current MoH covid-19 protocols, in-person attendance is limited. The service will be live-streamed on www.evamuchemi.com for family and friends who would have wished to be in attendance.

Eva was a champion supporter of children living with diabetes, and in her memory (in lieu of flowers), the family will appreciate your kind donation to the Kenya Diabetes Management and Information (DMI) Centre public awareness initiative through Pay-bill No.: 928100, Account Name: Eva’s Charity.

A life well lived is a precious gift of hope, strength and grace. May her gentle soul rest in eternal peace. Amen!
