Appreciation

28th March, 1961 – 12th February, 2021

We, the family of Joe Gituru Kiguru, would like to take this moment to thank God for his faithfulness to us during our time of grief and sorrow following Joe’s demise, one month ago today.

We want to specifically thank you for standing with us in prayer, giving us words of wisdom, encouragement, financial support and above all visiting, calling to condole with us and just for checking on how we were doing. We were and still are totally overwhelmed by your love and support. Indeed this is the true description of the early church.

As we cannot thank you individually, kindly bow your head for just a moment remember how you contributed to his life and he to yours and let his spirit touch you in appreciation of having shared his journey with him.

We also extend gratitude to Jacob’s doctors at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospitals & King’s College Hospital in London, who were on hand until the very end to provide invaluable advice and consultative support. To Jacob’s caregivers who in the last several months played a significant role in ensuring Jacob had a quality life his illness notwithstanding. We can’t thank you all enough.

We continue to thank God for the 75 years that He gave to Jacob: for Jacob’s commitment to “Purpose, Family, and Love- – his life mantra that guided the memorable encounters that many who knew him experienced.
