It has been 365 days, several happy moments, countless tears since you left us. We have had the strength and courage to live through it all without you, because of the faith and trust in God you instilled in us. It’s been one year without you physically with us, but we have felt your presence through it all. In Loving Memory

One year ago, you departed from this world. There is not a day that has gone by without us thinking of you. Some moments have been extremely low as we have tried to understand why you had to leave us. At other moments, we have remembered that you had been unwell and that perhaps you needed to rest.

From Elsie, Warren and Gabby; we deeply miss you mum. We are still lost a year after your departure and while we know that the void left by a loving mom can never be filled, we are grateful that dad has been our anchor in many ways.

From Mom and Penny; we have only been able to rise daily in the knowledge that you are in a better place with the Lord; that you no longer feel the pain and the uncertainties of this life. We soldier on greatly comforted by the knowledge that we were very lucky to have you.

We deeply appreciate all the support from our families and friends including the Kogi family, Mungatana family, Chege family, Mugambi family, Mary (mama Kirundi) family and all the dedicated friends who travelled to Ngao with us to lay Violet to rest.
