One year ago on 29/4/2020, you found peace in God’s hands. In our hearts you will always be a wonderful dad, father in law, grandfather, brother, uncle and a friend to many. Time hasn’t healed the pain of our loss. As we celebrate your life today we shall forever remain grateful and cherish the lasting bonds we shared with you as a family. We thank God for the privileges of your honorable life and we miss your humor, infectious smile, guidance, quietness and generous nature. We pray that your soul continues to rest in peace. In life we loved you and in death as you lie next to our mum, we miss you all dearly.

Charlie Kaimenyi, Franklin Mbaabu, Ernest Mwiti and the rest of the Manyara family would like to acknowledge with gratitude the support and kindness extended to the family by a diversity of our friends both in Kenya and the U.S.A. We were humbled of your sharing in our grief by way of prayers, counseling, personal visits, phone calls, messages of condolence, financial contributions and moral support during the demise and funeral of our dad.

Due to the current Covid issues we shall postpone the unveiling of the cross and celebration of our beloved Dad this year.

We the family of James Mungai Mwaura (Juu) former employee of Nairobi City Council, wish to express our deepest appreciations for the prayers, messages of condolence, personal visits and acts of generosity we received following his demise on 13/04/2020.

We are mostly grateful for the invaluable support accorded by our relatives, in laws, neighbours, dad’s friends, Nairobi City County staff and all family friends. Our thanks also go to the Mary Queen of Apostle’s Catholic Church. The family also appreciates the planning committee at home which worked hard to give him a great send off. To the many others who joined us in laying him to rest at Manyatta, we cannot thank them individually. Please accept this acknowledgment as a token of our appreciation. Burial took place on 15/04/2020.

Dad leaves behind a widow Mary Njeri Mungai, children Elizabeth Nyaguthii & Eliud Kamau, Peter Mwaura & Elizabeth Njeri, Sarah Wanjiru and Daniel Muranga. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, two great grandchildren, brothers David Gitau and Patrick Wangunyu, sister Hannah Wamaitha, multiple cousins, nephews and nieces.

Eternal rest grant unto him and let perpetual light shine upon him.

Beloved wife of Major (Rtd) Benjamin Mbebe. Mother of James Kitonga, Rachel Ndune and Martina Martha. Grandmother of Ali Mbebe Zidane. Daughter-in-law of the lat eJames Mbebe and Late Racheal Ndune. Sister-in-law of Col. (Rtd) Alex Mwangangi, Rhoda Peter Kitonga, Carol Mbuvi – Nzamba, Lynet Kaimuri Muthusi, Brettah Mbesa Simba, Jennifer Mwongeli Mwaki, Razak Ayub, David & Rose Mbebe, Joseph & Franscica Mbebe, Elizabeth Ilako, Washington & Rhoda Kibaya, Margaret Wayua Mbebe, Noah, Wayua & Selina Mbebe, Job & Elizabeth Mbebe, Judge Musinga & Lily, Tonny & Janet Mbebe, Mbili & Rhoda Mbebe. Cousin, aunty and grandmother of many more.

The burial will take place at her residence in lkutha location, Mutomo Sub-County, Kitui County on Saturday 2nd May 2020 at 1 pm. The prevailing requisite stringent health measures with be observed.

The family remains deeply indebted to all our Relatives, Friends and well wishers who stood by us throughout her illness. We shall forever be grateful for the immense support by those in the WhatsApp group who came to our rescue during our grief and bereavement.

May the Lord’s Mercy Grace Her Soul in Eternal peace

We, Mr. Peter & Mrs. Margaret Nzioka and family thank the Almighty God for the lives of our children for the fabulous time we shared together.

We are full of gratitude for the amazing love and humbling support we received from our friends and relatives following Larry, Feaven and Rex’s untimely death. Your great legacy of social justice lingers on in the lives of those you touched and still continue to touch through the Isaac Kaaria Cancer Foundation that you ignited.

Mutu, you are dearly missed by mum and dad, your wife Loise, your sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, dear friends, cousins, uncles and aunties. You will always be our son, husband, brother, uncle, cousin nephew and friend. You live on in each of us.

The Kaaria family, continues to remember with deep gratitude the great team that journeyed with Isaac and still continues to journey with us. Son of the late Walter Muiruri Njoroge and the late Janet Njeri Muiruri of Githunguri village, Maragua District, Muranga County. Dear husband of Peris Wairimu Gitau. Son in law of the late Kariuki Kamau and Esther Njoki Kariuki. Loving father of Kennedy Muiruri (UK), Victor Kariuki, Erickson Njoroge, Peter Gitau and Caroline Gitau (KCB Bank). Doting grandfather of Kenjie (UK), Jason (UK), Patience, Ezra, Elisha, Eden, Eamon, Ethan, Eli, David, Peris, and Precious amongst many cherished. Brother of Erastus Njoroge, Wanjiru Ndegwa Njuguna (Sianzi Mimi Limited), Mary Wanjiku, Lazarus Mwaura, Virginia Wanjiru, Serah Wangui, Joseph Mburu and the late Esther Njoki. Loving cousin and uncle of many. Father-in-law of Edwin Gachuchu, Laura Odhiambo and Teresiah Wachuka.
