Son of the late Gitabi wa Mull and late Maria Nyambura. He was brother to late Esther Ndunge, late Kiundu Gitabi, late Priscila Wanjiru, and late Grace Roko.

Loving husband to Lucy Njeri James. Father to Mary Nyambura Muchiri of Mwea, John Gitabi Kimotho of KICD, Late Jacinta Ngina Kimotho, Esther Wambui Kimotho of Broadways High school Thika, Joseph Wangunyu Kimotho of Matunda School Murang’a, Geoffrey Muchoki Kimotho of NHIF Embu, Veronica Muthoni Kimotho of Mwea, Priscilla Wanjiru Kimotho of DACE Nairobi, Paul Kiiru Kimotho of High Alert Security and Simon Nyumu Kimotho of Mwea.

Father in law to the late Elijah Muchiri, Joyce Waruguru, Ruth Nyambura, Anne Wanjiru, Pastor Evans Kilasi , Patrick Wairagu, and Caroline Wanjugu. Son in law to the late Joseph Wangunyu Karoki and Jacinta Ngina of Mwea Kirinyaga County, and brother in law to Veronica Muthoni, James Muchoki, Agnes Kanini, Simon Nyumu, Peter Muriithi, Monica Njoki, John Gitau and Mary Njoki,

James Kimotho leaves behind 26 grand children and 8 great grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Bishop Okoye Funeral Home on 16th April, 2021 at 8:30am for burial at Kimanza village, Kilimambogo, Machakos County.

It is with great sorrow to announce the promotion to glory of Ernest Kiprono Ngeny formerly the Dean Physics Department, CEMASTEA, which occurred on Sunday 11th April, 2021, after a short illness.

He was son to the late Daniel Kipchirchir Mwei and Grace Jepchumba Mwei. Brother to Rael Biwott, Julia Kaptingei, Milka Chepkwony, Mark Seurei, Eunice Tuwel, Emily Jeptum, Gladys Serem and Nelly Koech. Loving Husband to Dinah Ngeny. Father to Mercy Jemutai, Elly Kiprotich and Marion Jepkemei. Grandfather to Davin Jeptoo. His aunties included late Marry Koiya (Bot Mula), Leah Biwot, Salina Chetigin, Magdalene Koech, Teresa Too, Filomena Kerich, Clementina Misoy (Mama Willy), Lilian Malel, Carnila Sum, Rosemary Kurtany and Chelagat Kaptegaa, Petrolina Tepeny, Evelyn Chepkirui, among others.. He had 34 nieces and nephews.

His uncles included Daniel Ngeny, Samwel Samoei, James Ngeny, Joseph Kirwa, Paul Bett, Sophia among others. His cousins include Sally Maiyo, Stanley, Cheruto, Kipchirchir, Kumaru, Chelagat, Chemutai, Jepleting, Dorcas Chebichii, Kiprono, Cherop, Viola, Kibiwott, Felix, Celestine, Eursila, Phylis, Mercy, Daisy, Kennedy, Davis, Faith, Allan, Rick, Brian, Marion, Irene, Kiprop, Clinton, Kassim, Rashida, Zuena Ellias, among others.

There will be a fundraiser on Thursday, 15/04/2021, at his home, Cheptilil Suswa.

The cortege will leave Kimbilio Hospice Mortuary on Friday 16/04/2021. Burial will be held on Saturda; 17.04.2021 in his home, Cheptilil Suswa, Chepterwai, Soymining Location, Mosop Constituency, Nandi County.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral home, Machakos on Friday 16th April, 2021 at 8.00 am for burial at his home Kalamani village, Mbooni West, Makueni County from 10.00am.

Son of David Mwathe and the late Agnes Mwathe. Son-in-law to the late Dennis and Ruth Gattimu (Kariokor). Brother-in-law to Mr. & Mrs to Samuel Waiharo (Karen), Fr. James N. Kinuthia (Thika), Mr. & Mrs. Ambassador Cleopha Mailu (Geneva), Mr. & Mrs. Paul Kuria and Mrs. Monicah Mwathe.

A nephew to Ruth Mwangi (Zimmerman), Dr. Edward Mwathe (Githurai), the late Simon Ngigi (Kahunira), Humphrey Kiruri, James Gicheru and Lawrence Kiruri. among many others. Grandson to the late Masemiano Chege Wa Migwi, Paulina Matatu (Kandara), the lace Mwathe Githuri, the late Lydiah Wangari. the late MaryWangui and Miriam Wairimu.

Burial is on Friday, 16th April 2021 at Gathanji Village, Githunguri, Kiambu County at 11.00am. The cortege departs Montezuma Funeral Home – Nairobi at 9.00am.

We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Mrs. Christine Akinyi Ngwalla. She was born on 23- 12- 1969 to the late Mark Otieno Ogembo and Mama Marceline Otieno of Kanyadhiang Otok, Kendu Bay.

She was the wife of James Ayoo Ngwalla of Cobra Security Ltd Nairobi. Mother to Brian Oduor Ngwalla, Carol Ngwalla and Ralph Ngwalla. She was the daughter-in-law to the late Raphael Abuto Ngwalla and Mama Serphine Aoko Ngwalla and Eunice Ngwalla of MariwaVillage in Muhoroni. Sister to Josephine Atieno Otieno, Vincent Okeyo Otieno and the late Hellen Anyango Otieno, sister-in-law to the late Margaret Radler, Mike Ngwalla, Steve Ngwalla, Monica Omulo, Genevive Owuor, Charles Ngwalla, the late Tom Ngwalla, and Consolata Oyugi, Alice Ngwalla, Jessica Ngwalla, Grace Ngwalla, Christine Oluoch, Joan Ngwalla, niece to Dr. Lucas Mackasmiel, Dr. Henry Okoyo, Regine Opondo, and Syprine Abiero of the USA.

Her body leaves Chiromo Mortuary on 16-4-2021 for burial at her home in Chabera, Homa Bay County on 17-04-2021.

Romans 6:4. We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

May the Good Lord rest her soul in Eternal Peace. Amen.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mr. Bernard Kirai on 8th April 2021. Bernard was born in 1926 to Chabari Ndethiu and Mukwanjiru Chabari in Rwanderi Village, Muthambi Division, Tharaka Nithi County.

He was brother to the late Johanina Mumu, Susan Igoki and the late Desderio Kiraithe. He is survived by his wife, Biela Gaaji, their sons, James Gitonga, Japhet Njagi, Nicholas Mbabu and Hilary Kimathi and daughters, Nancy Gacheri, Doris Mumu, Saturina Nkinga and Faith Kaari. He was a father in law to Benjamin Njagi, Japhet Kangori, John Sikorei, Bishop Amos Onyango, Casterita Mukwanjeru, Francisca Kithei, Ann Kagwiria, Lucy Magi, Lucy Mbabu and MaryEsther Wawira. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mzee Kirai lived a full and warm life, filled with joy. He will be fondly remembered and sorely missed. May God rest his soul in eternal peace.

Burial will take place at Magundu Village, Tharaka Nithi County on 16th April 2021.

Brother to the late Bot Busienei, the late Kibitok Rigari, Kirwa Samoei, Kipserem Tuwel, Rosa Sang, Kipyego Bwalei, Kimeli Kibitok, Kipkering Kirwa, the late Kipkirong Samoei, Rosaline Jemeli, the late Dorcas Bungel, the late Emily Butia, William Kimaiyo, Kiplagat Maritim, Jebungei Koech and Clement Samoei.

Father-in-law of Richard Chepkwony, Irene Kosgei, Prisca Kosgei, Janet Bitok, Rev. Abraham Kutto, Julius Too, Violah Yegoh and Mercy Bitok. Grandfather of Faith, Kiprop, Victoria, Debra, Doxa, Pearl, Chemutai, Nathan and others. Great-grandfather of Aimee and Bijou.

The cortege leaves the Eldoret Hospital Mortuary, on 16th April, 2021, for his home Chemaluk Farm (Marura), Moiben Sub-county, Uasin Gishu County. Funeral service and burial will be on the same day from 9.00am.

Daughter of the late Herodian M’iti and Trizah Kangai Sister of the late Edwin Kaburu, the late Lucy Igoji, Sarah Kaari of Asidian, UK, Kenneth Micheni of Timekeeper Meru and Caroline Kawira of Britvic Int, UK. Sister-in-law to Mary Micheni, Joseph Muchibi. Auntie to Linet Nkatha, Lilian Makena, Morris Muriuki, Lisper Kageni, Sheila Kagendo, Prisca Mwende, Paula Kathomi and David Mutwiri. A niece, cousin, auntie and a friend to many.

The funeral and burial service will be held at her home in Chogoria, opposite Chogoria Boys High School, on Friday 16th April, 2021.

He was loving husband to Lucy Wairimu Mbuti and a doting father to Jane Cate Nduta, Kevin Thaiya, Maureen Wambui Kuria and Rose Wanjiku. He was father-in-love to Duncan Kuria and Synthia Thaiya. Grandfather to Tabitha, joy, Grace, Emmanuel, David and Israel:He was brother to Rose Wanjiku, Loice Gathoni, Mary Njeri, Esther Wangari, Godfrey Njenga, Winnie Wambui, Eunice Nungari, Johnson Ng’ang’a, Joseph Kibue, Andrew Gitau and Charles Kamau. He was Uncle, Cousin and Friend to many.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Funeral Home on 15th April, 2021 at 9:00 AM. Funeral Service and burial will follow at his father’s farm in Ndumbu-ini, Uthiru from 11:00 AM.

Friends and family are meeting daily for funeral arrangements at his home in Uthiru, Reli Village.

Daddy you ran the race and we know you are in Heaven. For those we love don’t go away but always walk beside us, unseen, unheard but always near. Rest in eternal peace Dad.

Nephew of the late Stanley Nyakoiro, the late Kwamboka, the late Queen, Kemuma, Samuel Omae, the late Joyce Nyatuka, the late Zablon, Caphenol, Milkah, Evans Ogwankwa (Director NYS), Gekonge, Gesare, Kefa (USA), Kemunto (Prisons), the late Matundura Peter and many others. Cousin of Ouko, Arasa, Nyongoina, Josinah, Magori, Moraa, Benard, Mokiria, Barongo, Duncan, Onchaga and Many others.
