Wife of the late Jacob Kunyera Mwangi. Daughter of the late Grishon Maigua and Rachel Wanjiku. Sister to the late Jemimah Wanjiru, late Alice Wairimu, Victoria Muguru and John Mwangi.

Loving mother to the late Mary Wangui Kunyera, Lucy Nyambura Muchiri and Margaret Wanjiru Kunyera. Mother-in-law to Peter Muchiri. Grandmother to Robert Kunyera, Catherine Wamaitha, Brian Githaiga, Mercy Njoki, Alex Mwangi, Elaine Wanjiku, Cyrus Irungu and Kayla Njoki. Great grandmother to Ethan Anaiah and Sylvanus Benaiah.

The cortege leaves J M Memorial hospital on Friday 9th April 2021 at 10.30am for a funeral service followed by burial at home in Mugumu Village, Olkalou.

The eldest son of the late Sisto Kanyari and the late Zaveria Wangui Gichuhi. Loving husband of Bernadette Njeri Thiuri. Father of Phillippa Wangui, and Emilia Wairimu and Howard Severson. Grandfather of Grant Thomas Powers, Nora Severson and Lars Severson. Brother of Mr. and Mrs. Karugo, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Wambugu, Eng. and Mrs. Paul Thang’a, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Ndegwa, the late Mr. Michael Wang’ondu and Mrs. Wang’ondu, Mrs. Mary Wangari Nduiga, Mr. and Mrs. John Wanjohi, and Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Muhinja. He was an educator and mentor to many, Deacon in the Archdiocese of Newark, New Jersey (USA), and close friend.

He will be laid to rest in Othaya, Nyeri County after a private burial service.

As a family, we are humbled by the outpouring of prayers and support from our family and friends. We request you accept this message as a token of our deep gratitude for your unwavering kindness that brought us great comfort at the most difficult moment in our lives. We are eternally grateful and live in the hope that you will join us in 2022 so that we can celebrate his life together.

Son of the late Benson Watuthu and Josephine VVanjugu of Muthuini village, Nyeri County. Son-in-law to the late Ronald Waweru and Juliet Wamucii of Hubuini village. Brother to Wangui, Wanjiru, Githinji, Mwiyeria, Wanjiku, Muthami, Gichohi, Kiboi, the late Wanja and Gichogo, stepbrother, uncle and grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting at his home at Membley Estate, Neema Road, Ruiru Sub-county  for prayers and burial preparations.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home -Thika Road, for funeral service and burial on Tuesday, April 13th 2021, at his home in Kamoro village, Sagana, Kirinyaga County.

Mother to John Billy Kuria (JB), Tabby Vivienne Njeri, Dorcas Njeri Kariuki. Mother-in-law of Samuel Karuiki Maina. Grandmother to Shawn Ryle Kuria, Billy Zain Kuria, Stephanie Wangare and Melissa Nyambura.

Sister to the late Francis Kinuthia, the late Zakayo Kagombe, the late Grace Mwihaki, the late Bob Karanja, the late Authur Kimani, the late Nancy Wambui, the late Anthony Nganga and the late Hudson Kariuki.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are being done daily at the Zambezi Home and Hotel Waterbuck – Nakuru, in compliance with Covid19 protocols.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Bishop Mark Titus Anjejo Nyamuthe of Awasi God of the Universe Church that occurred on April 4, 2021 at the Shalom Hospital in Kericho as a result of cancer complications.

Until his death, Mark was the Secretary and Bishop of God of the Universe Church responsible for central Nyanza region and peripheral areas.

Son of the late Angelus Nyamuthe Ng’idi and Mama Miriam Dete of Koguta, Awasi. Husband to Pamella Anjejo. Father to Faith, Bob, Jack, Oliver, Dorothy, Diana, Valery and Shem Anjejo. Grandfather to over 19 children and great grand-father to one.

Brother to Pastor Silas Owitty of Awasi God of the Universe Church, the late Susan Ober, Debora Anyango, Enock Otyeno, the late Martha Auma, Phoebe Akumu and Dr Timothy Oketch. Brother in law to Rose Owitty, Bishop John Ober, Betty Otyeno, and Dr Consolata Oketch.

The body of the late lies at the Otho Mortuary. The cortege will leave the mortuary on the day of burial, followed by Memorial and Burial Service that will be conducted at the graveside in his home in Awasi, Kisumu County.

Because of the prevailing restrictions to curb COVID, only a limited number of church leaders, family members and guests will be allowed in the home. The service will be livestreamed for those who will not be able to attend.
