Beloved Husband of Mama Mary Auma Bolo; Father of Dr. Grace Ong’wela (USA), Justus Bolo (USA), Calvin Bolo, Donald Bolo (Formerly of State Department of Wildlife), Japheth Bolo (Fisheries – Siaya), Sylvester Bolo (State Department for Public Service) and Suzanne Bolo (USA).

Father-in Law to Dr Gado Ong’wela, Dottie Bolo, Pamela Odiwuor, Elizabeth Bolo, Mary Achieng’ Bolo and Elizabeth Omondi.

Grandfather of the late Jim Ong’wela, Dr. Janice Adams(USA), Rose, Duncan, Samuel, David, Mercy, James, Francis, Martin, Abiud, Bruce,Annabel, Larry, Linda, Clarence, Samuel and Mathew. Great-grand father to 5.

Brother to Daudi Ochola Bolo, Uncle to James Ochola, Daniel Ochola and Joseph Ochola.

In-law to the Otughas, the Obajes, the Agutus, the Ongurus and the Odenys.

Son of the late Walter Okado and the late Kezia Okado (Nyar-ma) of Kamser B Sub- Location, Kamser Nyakongo, Rachuonyo North of Homabay county.

Son in-law of the late George Okong’o and the Late Carren Okong’o of Gem Rae.

Loving husband of Ruth Atieno Odhiambo (USA), Dedicated father of Cynthia Akoth-Fries (Germany), Aileen Awuor Odhiambo, Belyce Kezzie Odhiambo (UoN) and Ian Sani Odhiambo (Cooperative University).

Father in-law of Dieter Fries and Grandfather of Sarah-Ann Fries.

The cortege leaves Star Hospital Mortuary (Ogango) on 14/1/2021, viewing and prayers will be held at the mortuary.

Thereafter, the body leaves for his homestead in Kamser B Sanda Village(Kendu Bay) where he will be laid to rest on the 15/1/2021.

Burial service to be conducted by the Victory SDA Church Kisumu.

Sister to Musyimi, Nguli, Kanoa, Katuku, Muoti and Mulinge Kitheko. Mother-in-law to Rene Kiamba, Joseph Mutunga (Consol Glass), Priscilla, Joyce, Christine, Late Nzisa, Stella and Mary Mwende.

Grandmother to Lucy Mulili (ICT and Youth Affairs), Victoria Mulili (CDE-Kiambu), Charles Nthenge (Ngooni Hyper), Laban Kioko (Telcom), Sam (National Bank Msa), Isabella Asega, Vanessa, Mwendwa (Machakos County), Boss, King, Everlyne Mueni (Makueni County), Wambua (Makueni Referral Hospital), Ken, Catherine, Reuben (Engineer Nrb) Grace, Clinton, Martin, Maureen, Faith, Innocent among others and great grandchildren.

She was aunt to Irene Wambua (Chief Mutyambua) among others.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Machakos at 7.00 am and the funeral will be held on Friday 22nd January 2021 from 12.00 noon at her home in Mutyambua, off Sultan Hamud, Mbitini Ward, Makueni County.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home in Mutyambua and in Nairobi Norwich Union House from 4.00pm for funeral arrangements.

Beloved daughter of the late Susan and Zakayo Kibengo of Kimondo, Trans-Nzoia County.

She was wife of Novt Kerenge Mtani of Roadblock, Busia County. Together they were blessed with three beautiful daughters namely Marystella Mtani of Royal Fashions Mombasa, Judy Mtani of Scotland and Juliet Mtani of Mombasa.

She was mother-in-law of Peter Amolo of Mombasa, Robert Graham of Scotland and Sospeter Sindani of Mombasa.

She has left behind her jewel grandkids namely Jayson, Susan, Linda, Precious and Elijah all of Mombasa.

Sister of John, Rose, Samuel, late Maryselina, Vincent, Gabriel, Benedict, Elizabeth, Florence, Agatha, Peter, Margaret. Niece to the late Senator William Wamalwa and cousin to Hon. Eugene, Lillian of USA, Robert, Pauline Wamalwa among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home 300m from roadblock/weighbridge/Total Petrol Station off Kisumu road towards Malaba. Black gate, opposite Star of the Border School in Busia County, South Teso Constituency, Angorom Ward.

The cortege leaves Life Care Hospital Mortuary Bungoma on 14th January 2021 at 7am for a requiem service in Busia Catholic Church.

Mama Winifred will be laid to rest at her farm in Busia on 15th January 2021 from 10am.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Daughter of the late Esau Chege Kamau and the late Mary Wairimu Chege.

Doting mother to Angela Chemeli and Ashanti Wairimu.

Sister to Peter Kamau, Elizabeth Waithira, Anne Njeri, the late James Macharia, George Gachoka and the late Kenneth Mwangi.

Aunt to Celia Wambui, Cynthia Wairimu, Vincent Karuiki and Lewis Mutunga.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements in Buruburu Phase I.

There will be a Memorial Service on the 14th of January from 2-4 pm at Mavuno Mashariki Church The Point Mall Buruburu.

Family and friends will be arriving at the mortuary at 7am. The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral home in Kabati along Thika Road on Saturday 16th January 2021 at 8.00 AM and proceed to her parent’s home in Murang’a County, Murarandia division, Gatara village where she will be laid to rest.

The funeral service will start at 11am.

She was loving mother to Brandon, Byron (St. Joseph Rapogi Boys), Gift Charles (Unity Primary-Umoja) and Jabali (Jupiter Academy).

Sister to Janet. Nancy, Paul, Maurice, Sam, Timothy, Dorothy. Rinnie, Catherine, Grace and Elizabeth. Niece to Jacob Opundo and Heryne Auma.

Sister in law to Jacton, Frederick, Sarah Malo.

There will be a fundraiser on 16/01/2021 along Ngong Road – Former Space Lounge, opposite, Prestige Mall, from 2pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Mortuary on 22/01/2021 for burial in Dudi township on the 23/01/2021.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our Mum/Cucu/Maitu, Mrs Ruth Nuna Muoria that occurred on 6th January, 2021 in London, England.

Ruth joined her husband Henry Muoria in London in 1954 where she remained till her passing.

The only daughter of the late Grace Njoki.

Beloved wife to the late Henry Muoria Mwaniki Editor of the Gikuyu Newspaper Mumenyereri 1948 – 1952.

Ruth was a loving mother to twelve (12) children namely, Grace Njoki Kimuyu, Hellen Wambui Gichache, Christine Gathoni, the late Immaculate Waringa, a son who died in infancy, Jean Wangari Sal, Juliet Enji, Peter Mwaniki, Joe Karera, Margaret Wanjiru, David Mbari and the late Simon Mbugua and Stepmom to Rosabel Wambui, the late Charles Mwaniki, the late Walter Kinyanjui, Gathoni, Njeri, Wanjiku, Mbari, the late Wangare, the late John Mwaniki and the late Kinuthia.

She left behind 30 Grandchildren, 78 Great Grand Children and 10 Great Great grandchildren.

The burial will be held on Friday 29th January, 2021 at Emmanuel Church, London, England.

Mum/Cucu/Nanny Ruth Nuna Muoria you will be greatly missed by your family and Friends.

May the Name of the Lord be glorified. You have fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith. Now a crown awaits you in heaven (2 Tim.4:7-8)

Burial will take place at 12 noon at their home in Woyani Village, Utangwa sub-location, Mbooni.

She was wife of Edward Nowegian Njagi, and daughter of the late Nimrod Maina Macharia and Isabel Nyambura Maina.

She was mother of Christine Wawira (USA), Isabel Nyambura (USA), David Kariuki (USA) & Private Joseph Maina (Japan).

She was sister to Grace Njeru (Deliverance Church Mwiki), Duncan Macharia, Bethuel Ndungu, Johnson Mwangi, Dathan Marira, Helen Wangui of UK, John Mugo,Tabitha Wangeci, Julia Muthoni of USA & Zephania Gichure. She was a grandmother to four and an aunt to many.

There will be a meeting at All Saints Cathedral on Friday the 15th of January at 6.00pm, also on all weekdays including Monday the 18th through to Wednesday the 20th at 5.30pm at Norwich Union Towers 4th floor opposite the Hilton Hotel and at the family home in Kigari, Embu.

The burial will take place on Thursday the 21st of January at Kigari village next to St Marks Teachers Training College Embu from 11:00 am.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Referral Hospital mortuary at 8:00am on the same day.

It is with great sadness that the family of Paul Anthony Spence, announces his passing, on Saturday, January 9th, 2021, at the age of 81 years.

Paul will be lovingly remembered by his wife Philomena Spence, step-daughter Theresa and her son Matthew Kirumba.

Paul will also be fondly remembered by his extended family and closest friends throughout the UK and Kenya.

A funeral service and subsequent interment in memory of Paul will be held on Friday, January 15th, 2021 at 12:00 pm at Lang’ata Cemetery.

Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Paul to either the Nairobi Hospice or KAWE Kenya.
