Son of Joseph Kang’ethe and Beatrice Wanjiru Kang’ethe.

Loving Husband of Stella Wanja Muiruri of Java House Africa.

Son-in-law of Mr Julius Mburugu and the late Catherine Mburugu of Kionyo Village, Meru County.

Father of Joan Wanjiru, Joy Ngatha (both of Precious Blood Academy, Kenyatta Road) and Julie Wambui.

Brother of John Ndungu (Garissa PGH), Margaret Wambui, the late Henry Gathuku, Peris Njeri, the late Reuben Muturi, Solomon Kamau, Gladys Njambi, Judy Waithera, Susan Nyokabi and David Kimani. An Uncle of many.

Brother-in-law of Mrs Jane Kairo, Mr and Mrs John Mwangi, Dr and Mrs Frankline Ikunda Mburugu, Mr and Mrs Simon Mputhia, Mr and Mrs Henry Mutwiri, Mr and Mrs Jacob Mbaabu, Mr and Mrs Daniel Kinyua and Dr and Mrs Inoti Muriithi.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his house in Kenyatta Road, juja, Green Castle Estate, House Number 223.

There will be a Memorial service to be held at PCEA, Kenyatta Road, on Wednesday 6th January, at 5.00pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral home Thika Road Branch at 8am on Thursday 7th of January for a funeral service at PCEA Elijah Kagiri Memorial Church, in Kiunyu Gatanga Sub-county.

Burial shall be at his parents home in Rukoroi village, Kiunyu, on the same day.

Sister of the late Nyaboke, Oteri, among others.

Sister-in-law of Areba, Onkwani, the late Aming’a, the late Okirigitis, among others.

Mother-in-law of Peter, Walter, Tom, Dominic, Nancy, Ruth, Roselyn, Esther and Stella.

The fundraising is ongoing through WhatsApp groups and the main one is being held today at her home in Nyamagesa.

The cortege leaves Hema Hospital Mortuary, isii on Thursday, 7th January, 2021.

His body lies at the same Hospital Mortuary. He was a retired Deputy Police Commander, Bungoma County.

Son of the late Mzee Enock Wanyonyi Kisiang’ani (Omukimweyi )and the late Mama Sarah (Anieli) Nanyama (Omubulo).

Husband of the late Rose Makinia, the late Jane Nafula and Martha Ngutuku.

Father of Joshua Sabuni, Tony Wanyonyi, Faith Naliaka, Philip Wanyonyi, Jose Wanyonyi, Naomi Nanjala, Enock Wanyonyi, Shantel Wanyonyi and Jayce Luis.

Brother of Arch. She was wife to the late William Muchiri Mbogo.

She was mother to Virginia Wahito Macharia (USA), late Col. Simon Mbogo, Mary Murugi Karari & Karari Wambugu, (Timau) Peter Kabage and Nelius Kabage (Othaya), Godfrey Kiragu, Charles Gachugu & Anne Muchiri,(Nairobi) Samuel Ngechu & Nancy Muthoni (Othaya), George Karuga and Una Koki (Canada). She was a friend, Auntie,grandmother and great grandmother to many who dearly loved her.

She was sister to the late Gachugu, Mumbi, Ndungo, Wanjiru, Kaguru and Wacharu. She was an in-law to the late Kiragus, Warukiras, Wagaki, Wakonyo and Mumbi Mbogo.

Burial preparations are ongoing at the family home in Karima, Othaya, and at Charles’s home in Nairobi.

A loving mother-in-law of Christopher Wandera, Hillary Owino and Judith Koech. A loving grandmother of Sharon Anyango, Andrew Okuku, Abigael Sanyu, Faith Owino, Malaika Turdeya Owino, Samira Owino, Regan James Owino, Lamar Owino Kipchumba and Dylan Marcus Ogot Sister of Augastino Ogutu, the late Alloys Ondigo, Hendrica Giliana, Alexandria Atsieno, Felistus Mulomi, Resla Ondigo, Imelda Ondigo, Pius Asuka, the late Michael Asuka,Titus Ondigo, Stephen Kiriswa, and Priscilla Ondigo.

She was a cousin and an aunt to many, including Dr. Stephen Ondigo and many others.

With profound sorrow and much love, we mourn the passing of Master Sean Mmata Musavakwa on January 3rd, 2021 at the age of 13 years, after a battle with leukaemia.

Sean is deeply loved by his mummy Lilly Mbeche, daddy Branden Mmata, brother Naveed, sisters Lisa and Keyshia, grandparents, great-grandparents, his aunts and uncles, his cousins and many others.

They will hold him again in heaven one day.

Ian was the son of the late Dr. Stephen Nicholas Ngure and the late Mrs. Aurelia Majindiri Ngure, who both lived in Thika.

He was brother of Michael Muthu, Jennifer Wanjiku, Peggy Kanziga (California, USA) and Winnie Thingo Ngure (California, USA).

Brother-in-law of Margaret Waihumbu. Uncle of Eddie Mutinda, Stephanie Aurelia Mutesi Ineza Majindiri Lopes, Cynthia, Sharon and Chris.

Nephew of Stephania Gatoya (Nyagatare, Rwanda), the late Peter Sebutsure and the late Augustine Gatengezi, Mrs. Karen Thingo Kanari (Nairobi, Kenya), the late Cyrus Komo (California, USA) and the late Joseph Nginyo (Ting’ang’a, Kiambu) and a very good and a loyal friend to many.

Meetings for his farewell are being held daily at their home in Kiboko Estate, Thika, between 5.30pm – 7.00pm.

The burial will take place on 7th January,2021. The cortege will leave Montenzuma Funeral Home, Kabati, at 9:30am for their family home in Ting’ang’a, Kiambu where the service will commence at 11:00am, followed by the burial.

David will be sorely missed by family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Gerald. Father of the late Maj. Bartholomew Gitobu Arithi & Patricia Arithi, Rebecca Karanja & late Joseph Karanja, Dr. Leonard Mutwiri (Gituuru) & Esther Mutwiri, Jennifer Kimathi & late James Kimathi, Ruth Kinanu & the late Eliud Kabiti, Capt Joseph Kimathi, Joyce Nkuubi & Zaverio Nkuubi, Mercy Naito, Evelyn Kagendo, Faith Gacheri, Sammy Kirimi & Doris Kirimi. Grandfather of many and had over 20 great grandchildren. An innumerable number called him “uncle”.

Son of the late M’Nanjau Mwarama and late Mandalena M’Nanjau, Brother of late Beatrice Riria, Agnes Mberia, Joseph Makathima, and the late Rosemary Kaburu. Son-in-law of the late Paramount Chief Gituuru Ikamata wa Ntai of Abogeta Location in Meru.

The cortege will leave Nkubu Mission Hospital Mortuary on Friday 8th January, 2021 at 9.00am, for a church funeral service in PCEA Kithangari Church grounds, starting at 10.30am.

Interment will follow at his nearby Muthigani farm immediately thereafter.
