It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we the Little Sisters of St. Francis announce the passing on of Sr. Mary Dolorosa Bosibori on 11th December, 2020 at Mediheal Hospital — Nakuru.

She was daughter to the late Elias Ombeo and the late Rebecca Obegi. Sister to the late Bartholomew Angwenyi, Johnny Onsongo, Late Hellen Boyani and Teresia Moraa. Aunt and grandmother to many.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home — Nakuru on Thursday 17th December, 2020 at 8.15 a.m. There will be common prayers and viewing of the body from 9.00 a.m. to 10.45 a.m. at Bahati Catholic Parish — Diocese of Nakuru. Requiem Mass will begin at 11.00 a.m. followed by burial at Bahati Novitiate, Little Sisters of St. Francis Cemetery.

Loving wife to the late Mwalimu Lazarus Kinyati and a loving mother to Emmanuel Kinuthia, Dr. Joseph Mureithi of KALRO, Andere Nyamweru, Veronica Nyambura, John Kamau, Innocent Chege, Daniel Ndung’u, Felister Wanjiru, Peter Kariuki, Paul Gitahi,Vasiliana Wambui, Simon Mwangi and Jane Nyokabi of TSC. Grandmother and a great-grandmother to many.

The cortege leaves North Kinangop Mission Hospital Funeral Home on 17/12/2020 at 8:00am and thereafter Requiem Mass and burial at her home in Manunga village, Miharati Ward, Kipipiri Sub County.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.

Uncle of Getabus, Nchogus and Moraas. Cousin to Ambassador Nyambati and Robert. Nephew of John, Atati, Moses, Gori, Agasa and Kebaso.

The main fundraising to offset bills and burial expenses will be held at his residential home, Mekenene on Wednesday, December 16th, 2020.

He will be laid to rest at Mekenene village, Mwongori settlement Scheme in Nyamira County on Friday, 18th December 2020.

It is with great sadness and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Peter Thuranira `Mbau’ Ibeere, former Deputy Director, Ministry of Agriculture.

Son to the Late Leone M’Ibeere and the Late Teresia Kanyua to Njukinjiru, Meru. He was a son-in-law to the Late Edwin Kiptui Labatt and the Late Emily Tabutich to Eldama Ravine.

Loving husband to Veronica Chepkemboi Ibeere and the devoted father to Dr Kenneth Kiriinya, Emily Ibeere Lando, Karen Karimi, Faith Kagwiria and Kevin Muriki. He was a dedicated father-in-law to Meddy Lihavi Kiriinya and Dr Victor Lando. He was the doting grandfather to Nkirote, Hawi, Kayla,Arnoici,Ayira, Netai, Mich, Muthomi and Amanda.

Brother to the late Phelimon Mwenda, Andrew Mbaya, the late Jacinta Kathambi, Pancras Mutea and Julia Kimathi. He was a supportive uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Family & friends are meeting at his Meru residence from 4pm-6pm, 14th to 16th December.

The funeral and burial will take place on December 18 at 11.00am at his home in Njukinjiru, off Mati Road, Meru County.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely death of Ms. Margaret Muthoni Niugunarwhich occurred on 10th December 2020 after a short illness. Until her demise, she was the Corporation Secretary and Director, Legal Services at the National Biosafety Authority.

Ms. Njuguna was the daughter of the late Jeremiah Njuguna Waigi and Regina Nyambura Njuguna.

Sister to David and the late Grace Waigi Njuguna (Wagitaru), Michael Kimani Njuguna, Hannah and Josephat Njuguna Kigecha, Leah Njeri and the late Paul Ndungu Kibunja, the late Veronica Ngubia and George Chege Ngahu, Charles and Teresia Njuguna Waigi, Andrew and Rosemary Nyingi Njuguna, Peter and Margaret Koigi Njuguna, Jane and Peter Kimani Gakera and the late Robert Wachira Njuguna.

Aunt to Mary Josephine Nduta and John Ngure, Lawrence Njuguna Waigi, Patrick Kimani Waigi and Regina Nyambura Waigi among others. Grandmother to Fabian Waigi Nyambura among others.

The body is lying at Umash Funeral Services — Mbagathi Way, Nairobi. A requiem mass will take place at the Holy Family Minor Basilica at 10.00 a.m on Wednesday, 16th December, 2020.

The burial will take place on Friday, 18th December, 2020 at the family home in Rironi, Gatimu village, Limuru.

Husband of Mary Wambui Thiong’o. Father of Peter Gatete, James Kariuki, Jane Wangui, John Muhoro, Benedict Thuku, the late Lucy Muthoni, and Ann Mboo. In law of Kingori’s, Kimani’s, Makunu’s, Muigai’s, and Muthanga’s. Grand father and uncle of many.

Burial preparation meetings are being held daily at his rural home in Gacharage-ini and Tea Room hotel in Kisii from 6:00 pm.

The cortege leaves Kiriani-ini Mission Funeral Home on Thursday 17th December 2020 at 9:00 am for   requiem mass at Muthangari Catholic Church grounds and there after burial at his farm in Muthangari Village opposite the church.

She was wife to the late Mzee James Mireri Midigo. Daughter of the late Mzee Akowa Ondiek and the late Mama Okello Akowa of Gem-Rae Nyakach in Kisumu County.

Mother to Hon. John Matunga Mireri (MCA, West Kamagak Ward), Prof. Caleb Mireri (Kenyatta University), the late Mary Akinyi Otieno, Pamela Mireri (Deputy Principal, Buoye Mixed Secondary School) and Samwel Mireri (Treasurer KNUT, Rachuonyo Branch).

Sister of the late Justo Odhiambo, Jennipher Akeyo, the late Joshua Okun, the late Esther Atieno (Osimbo) and Ondiek Akowa. Mother-in-law to Margaret Matunga, Caren Matunga, Beatrice Mireri and Millicent Otieno.

She has left behind 34 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Family and friends are meeting daily in her home in Kochieng’ Village, Obisa sub-location, Kasipul, Homa Bay County for funeral arrangements.

She will be laid to rest on 20.12.2020 at her home.
