It is with thanks giving for a life well lived that we announce the death of Constance Nduku Muyanga on 18 November 2020

Constance was the best friend and wife to Joseph Musau Muyanga (former Chief Principal of the then Kenya Polytechnic and Kagumo Teachers College). She was a devoted mother to Lilian Muyanga (business woman), late Robert Kioko, Rose Musyoki (KWFT), Lucy Muyanga (EY Cayman Islands) and Ngina Muyanga Kanja (Ngina Muyanga Associates).

She was a beloved mother in love to Plus Musyoki (Safaricom PLC), Lawrence Mbugua (M-Kopa Solar), Alex Kanja (AG Office), Diana Wagacha (NHIF) and Irene Mwende. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Nicole Maina, Steve Musau, Mark Wagacha, Myra Mwende, Malcolm Mwendwa, Micheal Musau, Andrew Mbugua, Wema Kanja, Catherine Mwende, Alfred Mutiti and Esther Mumbe.

She was the daughter of the late Simeon Kioko Kisoi (ex-Senior Chief) and the late Elizabeth Nthenya Koko and a cherished sister to the late Mary Kitusa, late Martha Muoki, late Raphael Kioko, late Regina Kanini, Paulina Nzula, late Serah Mweki, George Kasyoka, late Jimmy Kioko and Sammy Kioko.

She was a sister-in-law to late Capt. Jackson and Priscilla Muyanga, late William and Magdalene Muyanga, Stewart and Jedidah Muyanga, late Sambili and Monthe, late Mbinya Munyao, late Ngina Kaindi, late Musyimi and Alice Muyanga, Mathembo Katiku, both late Maj. and Lydia Muyanga, Anne Makau, late Maj. Kitusa, late Muoki, Willy Wambua, Joel Mumo, Obara, late Grace Kioko, Jane Kasyoka and Monica Kioko. She was syitoe to Shadrack and Immaculate Wambua, George Mwaura and Rose Nyambura, late Augustus and Elizabeth Gathenya. She was an aunt, cousin, mentor and friend to many.

The funeral will be held on Friday 04 December 2020 at her home in Nzoweni, Mitaboni starting from 10.00 a.m. Following the Government COVID-19 protocols, the number of mourners at the homestead will be restricted.

It’s with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Madam Zipporah Mukonyo Nyagah formerly Head teacher Murindi Primary school in Embu County. Mum passed away peacefully on 15/11/2020 at Nairobi West Hospital.

Loving daughter of the late George Ngenge Kilavi and the late Beth Musili Tete of Makueni County. She was the loving wife of Benson Nyagah Kariuki. Mother of Daniel Mwema, Cieopas Muthoka, Lucy Nginya, Beth Musili, Jonah Ireri and Titus Ndeti. Sister of Charles Muli, The late Helena, Francis Ndifo, The late Paul Ngenge and David Nzioki. She was grandmother of Lucky, Angel, Murangiri, Kendi, Joel, Bernice, Melody, Joy, Abigael, Lemuel, Amarice and Travis Nyaga. Mother in-law to Dority Karegi, Rita Wanjue, Felix Wambua, Cyrus Kariuki Winnie Wanjiru and Caroline Nyaga.

The cortege leaves Gakwegori Funeral Home on Tuesday 24th November ,2020 at 9.00am for burial at her home Gacaviri village, Mavuria ward Embu county.

Grandmother to Ivy, Charlotte, Abubakar, Haroun, Marianne, Waweru, Kamau, Cynthia, Martin, Sheila, Jayden, Kinyua, Joy, Wacera and Njoroge.

The church service will be held on 24th November, 2020 at P.C.E.A Mutuini and thereafter the burial ceremony at P.C.E.A Thogoto cemetery.

The beloved daughter of Francis Githoge Karugu & Dorah Njoki Karugu. Loving mother of Zorah Njoki Benedict. Youngest sister of Jacqueline Waniiku, the late Catherine Njeri, Christine Njoki & Evelyn Wangari. Aunt of Mwendwa & Matteo. Sister-in-law of Francis Mutuku & Tonny Ochuonyo. Kui is the granddaughter of the late George and Phyllis Karugu and the late Moses and Linet Mwangi. A niece and cousin to the Karugus, Mwangis, Muriukis, Ndegwas, Kanyagos, and Mwenjes.

The body will leave Chiromo Mortuary on 23rd November for a funeral service and burial at Lang’ata Cemetery from 10.00am.

Wife of Elder Donald Ng’ang’a Njoroge. Daughter of the late John Mbuthi Kaniaru and Margaret Wairimu Mbuthi. Daughter-in-law of the late Joshua Nioroge and the late Margaret Gathoni. Sister of Peter Muthee (KDF), Susan Wanjiku (Mai Mahiu), George Kaniaru (Ngong) and Jane Nyambura (Ngarariga).

Mother of Michael Njoroge, Grace Wambui Njoroge (River Cafe), John Mbuthi (Seattle, USA), Josephine Wairimu Mbuthi (Teacher Tigoni Primary Sch.), James Mburu (Atlanta, USA), Peter Mukundi and Annet Mumbi Mukundi (Ruaka). Grandmother of Anthony Nick Njoroge, Eric Donald Ng’ang’a Mbuthi, Teddy Njau Mbuthi, Floce Wanjiku Njoroge, Lucy Wanjiru Njoroge and Don Adrian Nganga Mukundi.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her residence in Manguo, Limuru for prayers and funeral arrangements starting at 4.00pm.

It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved Timothy Gideon Wambua Mutiso, HSC (fondly referred to as Chief) on 16th November, 2020 at Nairobi Hospital after a short illness. Until his demise he was the Director – Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE).

A dear son of Beatrice Nzisa Mutiso. Beloved husband of the late Consolata Mueni and Lyveen Ndinda. Doting father of Faith Kamore, the late Christine Kata, Joseph Wambua, John Wambua, Trevor Wambua and Mumo Wambua. Father-in-love of Wiliam Kamore and Darius Kata. Proud grandpa of Njoki Kamore.

Brother of George Ndambuki, Joshua Kithome, the late Esther Mwikali, Emmanuel Munyaka, Wathome, Mutisya, the late Ngina, the late Bosco, the late Muthee, Lilian Hessian, Brian Kisuke, Martin Kiio.

He was a dedicated and supportive educationist, having served over 35 years as a Leader in various government learning Institutions in Kenya.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at KISE (Kasarani), Lau Guest House — Machakos, Nthangu Home – Makueni and in WoteTown at 5:30pm.

A Requiem service to celebrate his life is being held today, Wednesday 25th November 2020 at KISE from 11am. The requiem service is streamed live on youtube channel “KISE KENYA OFFICIAL” and on KISE facebook page.

He will be laid to rest on Friday 27th November 2020, at his home in Nthangu village, Wote, Makueni County.
