Cortege leaves the Aga Khan Hospital Mortuary Kisumu on Friday 6th November, 2020 for a requiem mass to be held at St Stephen’s Shikomari ACK Church. Funeral will be held on Saturday 7th November, 2020 at her rural home in Shirakalu village, Butsotso North Location, Kakamega from 9.00am.

Son of Mrs Verina Ikamba Njeru and Late Njeru Ithaga. Loving husband of Merry Mbura. Father of Rhoda Karimi (EPZ Mombasa) and Mary Njoki (Ciangera Primary School). Brother to Michael Ireri (KBR Djibouti), Richard Kariuki (KBR Djibouti), Susan Wawira (Kathandeni Primary School), Evelyne Ndui, Fauster Serveter, Late Mary Wanjeru, Late Vekerina Wereri, Bother In Law to Peter Ndiu, James Musyimi, Late Genesio Mwenje.

The cortege leaves JOOTRH Kisumu on 6th November 2020 and burial at his home Vihiga County South Maragoli location Muyundi village on 7/11/2020 from 10am.

Until his death, George was working as Head of Procurement Department at Kisii Teaching and Referral Hospital (KTRH). Initially he was working at the department of Transport and Fleet Management.

The cortege will leave Kisii Teaching and Referral Funeral home on November 6, 2020 at 08:30 am for a funeral service at his home Eremo Village, Keumbu, Kisii County where burial rights will be held.
