It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden demise of Rev Patrick Ndothya Mwove, formerly acting KCB regional operations manager, part time lecturer at South Eastern University Kenya and St. Paul’s University, Senior Pastor & founder of Word of Revelation Church -Katutu, BCCI Ministry Kitui, which occurred at Bishop Kioko Hospital (Machakos) after a short illness.

He was husband of Angelina Ndothya. Father of Jacob Mwove, Phyllis Masaa, Peninah Mbata and Moses Mulu.

He was son of Moses Mwove and Phyllis Masaa, father in law of Reuben Muthama, Obadiah Nyamete and Florence Mwende. Grandfather to Mercy, Nadia, Ariana and Ariela. He was brother Musumbi, Mutua, Kitheka ,John among others. Brother in law to Kavindu, Mbata among others.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Nguutani village, Mwingi west Sub-county, Kitui county, at his jica estate home Kitui town, and Kafoca Hotel Kitui for burial preparations. Financial support can be sent through MPESA to 0721469421.

The cortege leaves Tribute Funeral Home on Friday, 6th November, 2020 at 8:00am, for prayers and burial ceremony at his home Nguutani village home in Mwingi west, Kitui County.

We regret to announce the Death of Rev. George Abura Muhati.

Son of the late Reuben Muhati and the late Mama Doris Mukasiali of Matende Village, Shirere Sub Location, Kakamega Township, Kakamega County.

Husband to the late Rev. Perus Angaya Abura (Former Associate Pastor Matende and Mayiakalo Church of God Chairlady Amalemba District Churches and Chairman of Kakamega area. Rev George Abura was Father to Silvester Muhati, Herman Inganji, Richard Alusiola, Joan Namukuru and Lilian Mukasiali. He was also father to the late Arthur Alukwe, the late Fredrick Milimu, and the late Eric Onono. He was a Brother to the late Rev. Joshua Luvembe-Director of Church of God Schools, the late Susie, the late Norah Mwangale, the late Paul Khakabo, the late Musa Lihanda, the late Methusela Muhati, the late Charles Chisienya, the late Jonathan Buyekane and the late Timothy Atsangalala.

Brother In-law to Damary Mitisela, Joyce Chisienya, Jemima Luvembe, Kezia Buyekane, Dorah Ingolo, Willis Ingolo, Obadiah Ingolo, Francis Ashikhube, the late Hosea Ingolo, Jackson, Rev. James, Elphas, Saul, Flora, Oryson, Damary, Robai Oruko and Beverly, Damary Musa. Father in-haw to Joyce Muhati, Rev. Alice Alukwe, Beatrice (gulp, Rose Milimu, Lydia Alusiola, Francis Lutta and Ramadhan Sakali. Grandfather to Klapper, Norah, Geoffrey, Dr. Benson, John, Jackson, Elisha, Patrick, Rev. Beverly, Hosea, Judith, Mariam, Umy, Sharon, Noel, Lydia, Linet, Eunice, Timothy, Elphas, Moses, Brian, Eugene, Joylet, Janet the late Harriet, the late Maureen, the late Esther and 36 Grand Children.

Rev Abura participated in the Second World War (1939-1945) and worked for the. Kenya Government (1943-1973) in several Ministries as Personnel Officer/District Clerk. He served as Chairman of Matende Primary School. He was Founder member of Matende Secondary School. He was the 2nd Matende Ward Councilor in Kakamega Municipality and Chairman Matende Church of God. He was the sixth Chairman of the General Assembly of Church of God in E.A (K) Senate (1987-1997) and Director of Human Resources (2000-2003), He was Vice-Chairman of the Church of God in E.A(K) Senate (2006-2008) and Chairman 2008 and 2016-to date.

The cortege leaves Kakamega General Hospital Mortuary on 06/11/2020 at 8.00am. for a sermon at Matende Church of God and thereafter to his home in Shivakala/Matende where his body will be laid to rest on Saturciffy 07/11/2020 at 1.00 PM.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved Raphael Kilavi Mutua, who rested on 26/10/2020 after a short illness. He was an employee of Nafaka Sacco Society LTD.

Son of the late Johnson Mutua and Phoebe Mumbi. Dear husband of Rosemary Ngii and were blessed with five children namely Maureen Mumbi, Renson Mutua, Brian Maingi, Sheila Mutheu and Emmanuel Muema. Brother of Geoffery, Winnie (UK), Rosina, The Late Jane, Regina, Josephine, Patrick and Shadrack. Uncle of Dan, Shirleen, Julie, Irene, Eva, Sally, Victor, Carol, Moris, Rachel, Tracey, Derrick and Mumbi. He has left 2 in-laws and 2 grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Coptic Hospital Ngong Road on Saturday 7th at 7:00am for burial at Thumbi village, Ngoleni sub location, Kathiani Location starting at 10:00am.

It is with deep and profound sorrow that we announce the passing on of Peter Mbau, Principal Gatara Secondary School in Kahuro Sub-county, Murang’a County. He was also a Reverend of Word of Faith Maragua and overseer, Murang’a Region. His demise occurred on Saturday 31st October 2020 at Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital (KUTRH) after a short illness.

He was second born of the late Ambrose Njoroge and the late Naomi Njeri. Husband of the late Lucy Muthoni and Josephine Wambui (Ikundu Primary Sch). Caring father of Eric Njoroge (Linear East Africa Agency), Maurine Njeri (Meru National Technical), Morris Njoroge and Favour Njeri (Precious Angels Academy — Maragua). Brother of Jane Magiri, Geoffrey Kamande (Principal Kiburu Boys),Anne Muthoni and Elijah Mburu. Brother-in-law of Gathege (Kenol), Nyokabi (Kigumo Girls), Priscilla, David, Daniel, Margaret, Jane and Wanjiru.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his residential home in Milimani Maragua Town from 4.00p.m for prayers and funeral arrangements. The funeral committee is also meeting from 7.00p.m.

The cortege will leave Kenyata University Teaching and Referral Hospital Funeral Home on Saturday 7th November 2020 at 8.00a.m followed by funeral service at Kawamanda Primary School ground in Kigoro Maragua starting at 11.00am and thereafter interment at his farm next to Kigoro shopping centre.

Father of Advocate Aggrey Kidiavai, Allan Ayodi Kidiavai, Nancy Sariku Kidiavai, Edith Minayo Kidiavai, the late Fanice Kageha Kidiavai, Evelyne Minyoso Kidiavai and Kennedy Okong’o Kidiavai. He was brother of the late Reuben Kezengwa, the late )giro Misango, the late Nathan Aludira, the late Selina Kageha, the late Jones Kavonesa and the late Joram Mudanya. Father-in-law of Constance Muyera Kidiavai, Collins Wambani and Diana Wafula Kidiavai. He was uncle of Bernard Kezengwa, Margaret Chunguli, Job Kidaha, Jackson Kisali, Ezekiel Manyonyi, Mebal Aludira, Renson Aludira,Grace Aludira,the Mudanyas, the Mulehis among many others. He is survived by 19 grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The cortege will leave St. Michael Funeral Home, Kiminini on Friday 6th November 2020 at 12.00 noon for a night’s vigil at his home. Mzee Kidiavai will be laid to rest on Saturday 7th November, 2020 at his home in Musemwa village, Kiminini Sub-county, Trans Nzoia County.

The body shall be laid to rest at the Muruli family home, Mukhuru village, Isukha East Location, Shinyalu Sub-county Kakamega County on Saturday 7th November, 2020.
