Son of the late Augustus Okello Omenda and the late Sarah Kafwa Aler of Masiebi village in Matayos. Loving husband of the late Felistas Aluoch Mudenyo of Yenga and father of Ngesa, Mrs Opondoh (KNEC), Dr Wanjala (Tenwek Hospital), the late Teresa and Otieno. He was brother of the late Achieng, the late Walter, the late Wayumba, Sulwe, Aluoch, Panyako, the late Onyango. Father in-law of Jack and Augustus. Grandfather of Angela, Hillary, Vivian, Esther, Ruth, Victor and Leti. Great grandfather of Neville, Melissa,Adrian and Justin.

The cortege leaves Chiromo mortuary on Friday October 9, 2020 at 4am for a mass at St. James Usula Anglican Church, Bumala from 4pm. Burial will take place on Saturday, October 10, 2020 at Burinda village, Bumala Sub-Location, Busia County from 8am.

Great grandfather to Roman, Marlene, Aryanna, Fabian, and Kieran. Brother to the late Grace Wanjiku (Wakarusa), the Late David Njenga, Pastor Warimi Kamau and Rose Wambui of UK. Uncle and great uncle to many.

The cortege will leave Star Mortuary Kisumu on Thursday, October 8, 2020 at 11.00 am for St Mary’s ACK Church, Madungu West, Uholo location then head to Mzee Onyango’s home in Gulla village, Sigomere. Burial ceremony will be held on Friday, October 9, 2020 from 10.00a.m at Madungu Gulla village, Sigomere Division. Ugunja Sub County, Siaya County.

Mother of Nicholas and Mary Mwangi, Elizabeth and Joseph Kinyua (Mwangi), the late Pauline Wairimu Mathenge, Catherine and Paul Ng’ang’a, Eunice and Sammy Makori, Mary Mathenge, Margaret Mathenge, John Maina, Peter Wariari, Nelson and Nelius Ndirangu and Samuel and Sheila Nderitu. Sister of Priscilla Wangari, the late Damaris Wambui, the late Gladys Njeri, the late Nelson Ndirangu and the late Edith Njoki. Daughter-in-law of Muragu Weru and Judy Wanjiru Muragu. Sister-in-law of the late Peter Wariari, Samwel Nderitu, Hannah Wanjiku, Joseph Gichuki and Wangui Muragu. She was a charming grandmother of Moffat, Carol, Antony, Sharon, George, Winfred, Josphat, Mumbi among others. She has left behind 24 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Father-in-law of Begi Gesicho (Advocate) and Odhiambo D. John (Advocate). Beloved son of the late Mzee George Adero and Mama Wilfrida Amolo of Rang’ala Sango,South Ugenya. Son-in law of the Late Mzee Christopher Musumba and the late Mama Phanice Musumba of Luchululo Village, Funyula. Brother of the Late Doreen Omollo, the late Roselinda Awuor-Enqvist, and Jane Otieno, Florence Obanda, Joyce Onyango (UK), Bertha Adero, Charles Adero, Stephen Adero, Maureen Adero and Hilda Adero. The body will leave Nightingale Mortuary in Kisumu on Friday 9th October, 2020 and a requiem mass shall be held at CITAM Kisumu Assembly on the said date at 10.00 a.m. Thereafter, the body will lie in state at his home in Alego — Kaluo, Rachui Village and burial will be held on Saturday, 10th October, 2020 at the same place.

Funeral Committee meetings are being held daily at his home, starting at 4pm.

The cortege leaves KU Referral Funeral Home on Friday, 9th October, 2020 at 8.30am for a Funeral Service at P.C.E.A Kimunyu Church at I 0.30am. The interment will follow thereafter at his Thiririka home, Kimunyu Village, Gatundu South.

She was Daughter in-law to Mr./ Mrs. Isaac Karanu Karanja. Sister In-law to Anthony Munene (Maasai School), Aidah Peris Edith, George Gachagwa, (St. Hannahs), Enoch Ndegwa (Josnah School Ruai) and Susan Wanjiru. She was aunt and cousin to many. Until her demise, she was an employee of Happyland Preparatory School (Buruburu) Nairobi.

The body will leave Kibugi Funeral Home (Kutus) at 8:00a.m on Friday 9th October, 2020. Burial will take place at Gitwe Village, Kutus, Kirinyaga County starting at 10:00a.m.
