It is with profound sorrow but with humble acceptance and submission to God’s will that the Nod’s family announces the transition to glory of Irene Wachia Noti, which occurred on 17th July 2020 at her son’s house after a short battle with throat cancer bravely borne.

Beloved daughter of the late Mr. Nathaniel Mghanga Noti and Mama Naomi Wanjala Noti. Mother of Mary Mkamburi Noti, Nathaniel Noti and the late Ceciliah Samba Noti. Sister of Ceciliah Samba Noti, William M. Noti and Doreen Kulola. Grandmother of William Mghanga, Philip Mwatati, Norman Mnyika, Cecilia Samba, Maureen Walowe, Doreen Kulola, Brian, Darly, Bevan and Brandon. Mother-in-law of Prisca Mkanjala, Violence Mkabili, Stephen and Arthur Ching’ono (UN Juba). Sister-in-law of Caroline Noti, Martin Were. Aunty of the late Nathaniel Noti, Nathaniel Mghanga, Elvis Maundo, Naomi Wanjala, Bill Noti, Nancy Nafula, Irene Wachia, George Were, Andrew Mnyika, James Nzukie (USA), Maureen Chingono (SA). Cousin and a friend to many.

There will be a Requiem mass at Montezuma Funeral Home on Thursday 23rd July 2020 at 7:30am, thereafter the cortege will leave at 9.00 am for her home Village Mwakilati, Wongonyi Sub-Location, Mbololo Location, Taita Taveta County for final rites on Friday 24th July 2020.

It is with grief and humble acceptance of God’s will we regret to announce the sudden demise of Irene Jane Wanjiru (Nyina wa Wamaitha) on Saturday 18th July 2020 while receiving treatment at Meridian Hospital Nairobi.

Wife of Maina Mwangi (Kihurunjo), Brother of the late Kamuto wa Ngumo and Mwangi wa Rongai, sister of Debora Njeri and the late Joyce Nyokabi (Waikerera). Loving mum of John Irungu (Broker), the late Lydia Wambui, Mercy Wanjiku, Catherine Wangari, Julius Mwangi, Eunice Wamaitha, Nancy Muthoni, Stephen Kamau and Robert Waweru(Antique Auctions). Mother-in-law of Salome Waithera, the late Samson Kahira, the late Mr. Kihanya, Rachael Wambui, Mr.Kariuki, Asina Wanjiku and Tabitha Njeri. Loving Aunt, grandmother of many grandchildren and great grandchildren and a friend to many.

The cortege leaves K.U. Mortuary – Thika road on Saturday 25th July 2020 at 7.00am, funeral service will be at ACK church Gakoigo at 10.00am and later the burial at her home in Gatukuyu village, Gikuii, lyego Location, Kangema Sub-county Murang’a.

There are no meetings due to the current Covid-19 situation but contributions towards the hospital bill and funeral expenses are welcome and can be sent to any family member.

The cortege leaves ACK Mt. Kenya Funeral home Kerugoya on Thursday 23rd July 2020 at 09:00 a.m for Service and burial at his home in Karaini Village, Kirinyaga County.

Uncle of Eva Damaris (US), Dennis, Lesley, Kip, George, Dukes, Raisa, Grace, Jonathan (UK) Eunice and Shem. Brother-in-law of James Gitau, Lydia Kabura Ndegwa and Loise Mumbi Ndumo. The cortege will leave Nyeri Funeral Home Outspan on Saturday 25th July 2020 at 8.00am. Funeral service will be held at their home Kianganda Village, Othaya from 10am, in accordance to MOH guidelines.

It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing on of Andre Wanyoike Kamande which tragically occurred on the morning of Saturday, the 18th day of July.

Nyoike was a son to Kamande Wanyoike and the late Anita Nduta Mungai. He was grandson to Rev. Peter Wanyoike and Gladys Njeri Wanyoike, brother to Njeri Kamande, nephew to the late Gideon and Agnes Watetu Wariyoike, Mwaura and Diana Wanyoike, James and Irene Wagema, John and Jane Mungai, Mike and Edith Maganzo, Vincent and Mary Ndirangu, Ken Mungai, Kamau and Mercy Wanyoike, Elizabeth and Peter Mulli, Levi Wanyoike and Andrine Kagu. Cousin to Connie Mungai, Cynthia and Steve Gituku, Arnold Mungai, Wainaina Maganzo, Samuel Mungai Maganzo, Wanjiru Maganzo, Wanjugu and Gakuru Gachoki, Ruitha Wagema, Leah Wagema, Amani Mwaura, Immanueli Mwaura and Christian Mwaura, Njeri Ndirangu, Diana and Martin Mukusa, Samuel M. Funeral arrangements are ongoing online as we plan to lay our son, brother, cousin to rest.

The funeral will take place on Saturday 25th July at Kahuho Village, near Sabasaba in Murang’a County. Unfortunately it will be restricted to close family members only due to Covid-19 restrictions.

The cortege leaves PNN Funeral Home Nakuru on 23/07/2020 for her Riangabi home in Kisii. Holy mass will be conducted starting 11am. Thereafter, mama will be laid to rest.

Christine Kawira Nkuru (Wuhan University of Technology -China). Father-in-law of Cecilia Mbuthia (ASL HFD). Grandfather of Amari Mutethia among others. Brother of Makarius Kathenya, Jacinta Mathenge, Magdaline Karimi, James Kathenya and Celina Kathenya. Beloved Son of Mr. Kyalo John and Edna Mumbua Kyalo, loving brother of Priscillah Kaluki, Rachael Mbithe and brother in-law to Kevin Okemwa. Nephew to Justus Mumo, Fred Musyoka, Jackline Kimuyu, Nickson Kioko, Winfred Kieke, Irene Mwanzia, Philip Tua, Ndambuki Mbithi, Marien Ndunge, Joseph Mbithi, Florence Ndavi and Justus Mbithi. Beloved cousin to Nickson Muthiani, Lawrence Mutwota and Irene Waeni among others. Grandson to John Muthiani and Priscillah Kaluki; and Nicholas Mbithi and Rose Mbithe. A loving colleague and a friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his parents’ home in Kavilinguni Location, Kakuyuni Division, Kangundo.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on Wednesday, 22nd July 2020 at 6:00 a.m for the burial service at his parents’ home in Kavilinguni. The service shall be held between 10:30 am and 11:30 am as per the Governments Directives on public gatherings with only close family relations.
