It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden demise of Mr. Peter Kiugu Ngigi HSC (Chairman Community Policing Lari Sub County – Kiambu) through a tragic road accident at Nyambari(Uplands), Nairobi – Nakuru Highway on Friday 17th July 2020. Peter was patron to Jabulani Group Kimende.

Son of the late Joseph Ngigi Kariuki and the late Hannah Wambui Ngigi. Son-in-law of Mr. & Mrs. Joseph Kuria Tharau and Mr. & Mrs. Paul Theche. Loving husband of the late Nancy Wambui Kiugu and Mirriam Wanjiku Theche. Father of Ngigi Kiugu (Rosslyn Group), Anne Wambui, Grace Mwihaki, Joseph Kuria and Paul Theche. Father-in-law of Rolline Mwobobia, Fredrick Muthaithi and Wycliff Otieno. Grandfather of Nancy Wambui, Darren Fredrick, Shani Lynn Ngigi and Cyril Meshack Otieno.

Brother of Grace Mwihaki Wambugu, Dorcas Nyambura, Onesmus Kariuki (Ikinu Furniture Kawangware), the late Daniel Njuguna (Kianda Mbao), the late Peter Kamau, Bernice Wanjiru, the late Francis Gatehi and Mary Nyaguthie (Court of Appeal -Nairobi). Brother-in-law of Tharau, Ngure, Wangari, Josephin, Karanu, Susan, Mumbi, Mburu, Kabogo ,Teresiah, Warugongo, Esther, Lillian, Benjamin, Ruth and Charles. Cousin, uncle and grandfather of many.

Friends and family are meeting at his home in Kirenga – Lari for prayers and funeral arrangements. His body is lying at Uplands Funeral Home.

The funeral will take place at Langata Crematorium tomorrow Wednesday 22nd July 2020.

Son of the late Daniel Wambugu Wakahiu and the late Elena Kamuyu Wambugu. Husband of Jacinta Wangari Gitahi. Father of the late John Wambugu, Peter Wakahiu, Simon Muriithi, Martin Njagi, Hellen Wanjugu (USA), Antony Kamondo, Dominic Mania and Antony Irungu of Britam Insurance. Brother of the late Peter Wakahiu, the late Cecilia Wangui Gichunewa, the late Joseph Njagi and the late John Maina (Wariahe). Son-in-law of the late Kamondo Muriithi and the late Wakanyi Kamondo. Father-in-law of Alice Njoki, Monica Wairimu, Jane Wangari, Mary Wachuka and Susan Nduta. Uncle of Muthoni Wakahiu, Muthoni Gichungwa, Hellen Ndirangu, Wambugu Njagi, Kariuki Njagi, Muriithi Njagi and Kihara Epcan among others. Cousin, friend and grand and great grandfather of many.

Sister of John Mwaura, J.M. Ndungu (Ndungu Mwaura & Co. Advocates), Jane Wanjiru Ogeto, Joan Njeri Murigu among others. The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home, Kabati on Friday 24th July 2020 for funeral service and burial at Gikuune Sub-Location, near Githongo Tea Factory, Imenti Central, Meru County.

Kumina Kirira (KeNHA Nairobi), Christine Wangeci and Veronica Wahu (Wanjohi), Cecilia Wangari (Thiru Sec. Sch), Samuel Gichohi (Iten) and the late Margaret Wanjiku. Foster mother of Ephantus Mwangi (Boteria Agency Nyahururu). Family and friends are meeting daily at her home in Wanjohi Location-Kipipiri and Mwihoko Estate in Ruiru Sub-County at 5.00pm as per Covid Protocols.

The cortege leaves North Kinangop Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday 22nd July, 2020 at 8.00am for burial at her farm in Wanjohi Location in Kipipiri Sub-County Nyandarua County.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely death of Major Robert (Bob) Mumu Ngombwa which occurred through a KDF Helicopter crash near Masinga on the 13th July 2020. Until his death, he worked as a Squadron Pilot at Joint Helicopter Command (JHC), Embakasi, and had been deployed to Somalia for African Union Mission (Amisom).The deceased was born on 8th June 1988.

The fourth born child of the late Mrs. Munanu Ngombwa and the late Mr. David Ngombwa Muindu. Husband and a father of three. Brother of Kanyaa, Maundu, Kasyoka and Mwende. Step brother of Ndivo Mbatani. Nephew of Mr. Dickson Mwendwa Munuve, Mr Keegan Musyoka Mumu (CBK), Mrs. Grace Munuve and Mrs. Annah Mutindi Musyoka. Grandson of the late Mumu Kulumba, and Kanyaa Mumu. Cousin of Mutuku, Sgt Mwendwa (Jhc), Kanyaa, Kioko, Mutuku (B), Mwingi, Esther, Mutua, Musili (RAS), Muthisya, Kitunguu, Vaati, Mwende, Kilonzi, and Kasyoki.

The cortege will leave Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday, 23rd July 2020 for funeral Mass and burial at his home Wiyumiririe farm in Nyahururu at 11.00 am.
