We deeply regret to announce the death of Esther Moraa Ochwoto, wife to Samuel Ochwoto Misiani of Siyoi Farm Maili saba Kitale that occurred on 8th July 2020 after battling with Cancer.

Daughter to the late Onsongo Onkoba and Late Paulina Mongina. Mother to Martha, Dinnah, Enfarence, Loyce, Missiani Ochwoto, Late Elijah, Liz Kwamboka and Naomi. Sister to Agnes, Nyabwanga, Elkana, Nyanchama, Anna and Nyambisa. Mother in-law to Kennedy Nyabworido, Joseph Ondieki, Newson Machoka, Zachary Nyambane and Agnes Karakacha. Korera to Samuel Nyabwondo and Rebecca Bosibori, Late Francis Machoka and Priscillah Nyarinda, Keremensia Bwari Nyambane and Late Julius Karakacha and Late Jane Moraa.

She was aunt to Kennedy Onkoba, Obed Ondara, Ronald, Mildred, Phen, Elijah, Joyce Moraa, Meshack Kerobu, David Maake, Philemon Mose and Mose Menge. She has left behind twenty-five grandchildren.

The body leaves Cherengany Nursing Home Mortuary, Kitale on Friday, 24th July 2020 for burial on the same day at her home in Siyoi Farm Maili saba.

We hope to meet win again on the resurrection Morning.

Lay Canon (Mwalimu) Evanson Mwangi Waithaka passed on to glory on Saturday 18th July 2020.

Husband to Janet Muthoni Mwangi (Mwalimu Janet), father to Judith Wangeci Mwangi (KCB KenCom House) and Ernest Gitau Ndirangu (Ashwin Brothers), Rachel Wagaki (United Nations Bonn) and Roman Wischnewski (Liebenshilfe), Johnson Waithaka (African Heat Ltd) and Grace Nduta Waithaka (Cooperative Bank, juja) and Stephen Wanguru and Sarah Njambi Wanguru (Ridgeville Academy). Grandfather to Trudy, Cindy, Grace, Marilynne, Evans, Emmanuel, Kevin, Shem and Nathan. He was brother to the late Agnes Wangari Mugweru, late Kiama Waithaka and late Naphtaly Waithaka Nyoko. An in-law of the late Peter Mugweru, Margaret Waithaka, late Samuel and Florence Ruoro, late Simon and late Esther Ritho, late Solomon and Ruth Wanguru, late Sospeter and Susan Wakarugi, Susan and Johnson Maina, late Shadrack and Consolata Gitau, Serah and George Mureithi, late David and Christine Ndirangu, Manfred and Ute Wischnewski, late Jacob and late Jane Mungai, and late Godfrey and late Grace Muhuri Muchiri.

Lay Canon Evanson had an illustrious career as a teacher, Education officer and Inspector of Schools (Kiambu, Western and Central Provinces). He was a loving husband and father, a mentor, role model, Godfather and spiritual father to many people. He dedicated his life to serving and proclaiming the Lord as God and Saviour of all mankind.

He will be laid to rest on Saturday, 25th July 2020 at his home in Othaya, Nyeri, following a funeral service at ACK St. Andrew’s Church Kagongo at 11.00 am.

Oh, how great is Your goodness, which You have laid up for those who fear You, which You have prepared for those who trust in You in the presence of the sons of men! Brenda was shot by gangsters on her way from work at 8.40pm which left her with serious injuries in her upper abdomen and spine. She lost the battle on Sunday 19th July while receiving treatment at KNH.

Daughter of the late Mr. Selemia Opere and Mrs. Christine Ouma. Sister of Duncan Ouma, Beatrice, Evans, Dickens, Judith, Catherin, Elizabeth, Trizah, Collins, Rudolf, Millicent, Wyclef, Matline, Silas, Charles, Azenath, Caroline, Elly, Edith and Gordon. Cousin of Tom K’Opere, Ken Ogola, Jared Ojuang, Bertha Omanya, Lameck Omolo, Isaac, Dickens Koero among others Niece of Dr. Richard Opere, the late Azaria Opere, Hezekia Opere, George Omolo, Tom Omolo among others.

Friends and family are meeting daily in Buru-buru phase I and on different online platforms to console and raise funds in order to facilitate her final journey.
