Son of the late Geoffery Mbuuri Gachura and the late Esther Nyakianda Mbuuri. Beloved husband of Ann Waithira, father of Esther Nyakianda, Rose Nyatoro and Eunice Njeri (U.K). Grandfather of Annabela and Max.

Son-in-law of Nelson Ndaaru and the late Rose Nyatoro. Brother of Stephen and Peris Muthiora, Eunice and Stephen Kimani (USA), Ruth and James Mukuria, the late Margaret and Robert Mwangi, Solomon and Stella Mbugua, the late Martha and Kinyunjui Ndogoni, the late Jane Gathoni, Monicah and Nyori Kabena, David and Jane Njenga.

Brother in law of Wandia, Nancy, Wambui, Sue and Muchoki, Mukua and Jane, Nyawira Ndaru. Loving uncle of many.

The cortege leaves the Aga Khan University Hospital mortuary tomorrow, Wednesday 15th July at 8:00am. The burial service begins at 11:00am at his home Kirigu village, Kiratina sub-location, Komothai Location, Githunguri, Kiambu county.

The service will be conducted in line with the MOH Covid- 19 guidelines.

A requiem mass will be held on Wednesday 15th July, 2020 at 11am at Kenyatta University hospital mortuary led by Redeemed church.

The cortege will leave the mortuary on 16th, and will be laid to rest at their home, Uozi Village in Mfangano Island, Homa-bay County on 17th July, 2020.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of a legend, a woman of faith, Mwaitu Esther Mutindi Ngule. Mwaitu Esther rested peacefully on the wee hours of Saturday 11th July 2020 at 100 yrs old.

Daughter of the late Mr & Mrs Kaleli Kyalo and Mukenyi (Kakuvi). Sister of the late Martha Mumbi, the late Tabitha Mbuli, the late Zephaniah Nzoka and the late Beth Mumbua. Sister-in-law of the late Mwikali, the late Nthambi, the late Kavesu, the late Mutiso, the late Rhoda and the late Shedrack Kalati. Wife of the late Mzee Timothy Ngule Kavivya with whom they were blessed with twelve (12) children Namely: Monicah Mutuku, the late Beth Muloko, Aaron Weka, Josephine Wandini, Rev. Timothy Kyende, Pst. Rose Kathule, Laban Wambua, Geoffrey Kaleli, Neville Nyumu, Pst Catherine Nzilani, Rev. Peter Nzuki and Chief Abel Mutua.

Mother-in-law of the late Dr. Mutuku, the late Sammy Nguli, the late Serah Weka, the late Rev. F. Muli, Magdalene, Pst. Mary, Musau, Dorothy, Anna, Peninnah, Masila, Pst. Norah and Ruth. She was blessed with forty grandchildren among them Mutinda, Margret, Mutindi, Faith, Pst. Silas, Muema, Mwikali, Edith, Ngule, Mukenyi, Kakene, Minoo. She had forty six great grandchildren and many more in the family and church. She was a spiritual mother and mentor to many.

The cortege leaves Makueni Funeral Home at 7:30 am for a service and interment on Wednesday 15th July 2020 at her home Ndulu Village, Nzaui Sub-County, Makueni County.

Grandmother of Kevin Mulinge, Elizabeth Mutanu, Mathew Wambua, Carina Mutanu, Marion Mwendwa, Gavin Mbiuki, Lebron Yosevu, Olin Muthini and Dylan Mugo. She was a dedicated member of ABC Kyanganga church where she served until her demise.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral, Machakos on Friday 17th July, 2020 at 8:00am for a requiem mass and thereafter burial at Kyanganga farm in Mango, Mwala Sub-County, Machakos County.

Loving father of Phoebe Likia, Melody Matiyion, Purity Seletoi, Lemashon and Ida Naantei. Grandfather of Julie Tait, Starsha Ratia, Bobby Lesiamon, Joy Sainoi and Kasaine Junior. Brother of the late Ng’otiek Lemparbal, the late Moonoi Muteri, Mutete Lemparbal, Gideon Maiko and Reson Kanko. Step brother of Sayialoi Serina, Lipeita Lesian, Teriano Shaankuai, Francis Rempeyian, Sintiyian Pashile, Melton Kiria and Simayian Sampera. The cortege will leave Montenzuma funeral home Nairobi on Wednesday 15th July 2020 at 7.00am. Burial will be held on the same day at his home Enkaroni, Kajiado Central Sub County, Kajiado County.

Sister of Caroline Kyalo (TSC), Michael Sita (TSC), Angela Mumo (World Vision), Marietta Ndanu (Clinical Officer), Martin Mauyu (Coop-Bank), Mathew Ndeto (JKUAT), Joseph Muendo, (EIA/EA Consultant Mombasa), Cecilia Minoo (USA) and Stephen Mbingo (Accountant).

The cortege leaves Machakos for a funeral service and burial on Wednesday, 15th July 2020 from 9.00am at Mukuyuni, Kaiti Constituency, Makueni County.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance that The Missionary Sisters of the Precious Blood regret to announce the demise of Sr. Nicodemi Masoka CPS which occurred on the 7th July 2020 at Precious Blood convent Riruta, after a long illness bravely borne.

She was the daughter of the late Mr. Edmundi and Mrs. Cecilia Masoka of Moshi Tanzania. Loving sister to Sr. Edmunda Teresia of the congregation of Our Lady of Kilimanjaro CDNK, Melkori, Francis and Alfred all of Tanzania.

She served for 52 years as a nun dedicated and tirelessly for the people of God in both in Kenya and Tanzania. She will be fondly remembered for her strong zeal and dedication to her apostolate.

The cortege leaves Mater Hospital on Tuesday, 14th July 2020 for the funeral mass to be held at Riruta convent 9.00 am and thereafter the body will be laid to rest at Juja Star of Hope Precious Blood Cemetery.

May the divine Iamb be her never fading light.

Father to the late Francis David Kambo, Catherine Wanjiru, Bartholomew Mureithi, Alfred Mugenyu, Agnes Wangari, Boniface Mwangi, Anthony Gichuki, Rose Wothaya, Josephine Wambui and Susan Njeri. Grandfather to Ann Muthoni Gichuki among others. He was blessed with many great-grandchildren.

Father-in-law to the late Mercy Mureithi, Leah Mugenyu, Maina Maigwa, Naomi Gichuki and Nguru Wanjau. Brother to Teresia Njeri Gathungu, the late Ruth Wangui. Step-Bother to the late Gilbert Mugenyu, late Ndegwa, late Gichuki, the late Gitonga, the late Sister Florence, the lace Nyambura, Wangari, late Nduhiu, Ruth, Wangechi, Warui, late Emma, Mwaniki and Wanja. He was an uncle and friend to many.

The cortege leaves KU Funeral Home on Wednesday 15th July 2020 at 7.00am for service and burial at 11.00 am, at his farm in Chorongi Village along the old Nyeri Kiandu Road, Ruringu Sub-Location in Nyeri County.

Brother-in-law to the late John Kamau, Harrison Macharia, Moses Waweru, late Joseph Mwangi, James Kinyanjui, Fresiah Njeri, Beth Wanjiru, Samuel Njunge, Joyce Nyambura and Ruth Wariu (USA). He was an in-law to Dr. Gilbert Njuguna & late Edith Mumbi, the late Francis Mburu & Veronica Njeri and the late Mwalimu Benard Karomo Mburu.
