Obituary Image of Eng. Gilbert Manyaga

Eng. Gilbert Manyaga

In the early morning hours of Sunday the 21st June, 2020 you were plucked from our midst by the cruel hand of death to go and rest in your sleep.

Whilst with us, you were a loving husband to your dear wife Susan Nyaboke, a doting father to your daughters Winnie Makini Kwamboka (USA), Advocate Emma Nyambeki, Dr. Valentine Kemunto and Rhoda Bosibori (JKUAT), a son to a father who loved you, brother to siblings who cherished you, an adoring nephew and a much valued in-law. In your social and family life you positively touched many.

Many a road, bridge or airport attest to your professional life as an engineer. These bear testimony to your professional acumen, in Kenya and further afield in East Africa and Africa at large.

You will be missed by many. Your wife and children in particular, your dad and siblings, uncles, aunties, cousins, in-laws and many friends and professional colleagues in Kenya and beyond.

Our family earlier lost a moon and a star; another star now fades away out of sight but not from our hearts and memories.

Rest now dear one, till the resurrection morning when the righteous in Christ shall rise at the sound of the trumpet call. Sadly missed by your wife, daughters, dad, siblings, uncles, aunties, cousins, nephews, nieces, grandchildren, in-laws and friends.
