We the family of the late Sevelius Barongo and mama Salome Nyanchama deeply regret the sudden demise of mwalimu Peter Miranyi Barongo whose body was found on Sunday 23/2/2020 at Chirichiro River after going missing for four days.

Husband of Calister Nyanchera. Father of Maxmilian, Celestine (St. Marks Kigari ITC), Polycarp (Kenyatta University) and Arnold. Grandfather of Barongo. Brother of Florence, Barongo (RDE. Western) Yophen (KSG, Matuga),Agnes (Diwopa Kayore), Oyaro (St Angela’s Sengera Girls), Frida, Jackline (Upendo) St.Veronicah (Dimesse Sisters), Gladys, Rosemary and Consolata (Kenana Primary School). Brother in law of the late Ntabo Ntabo and late Isaac Ayako. Grandson of the late Miranyi Ogesare and the late Paul Otuke among others. Son-in-law of the late Zackary Ogutu and Marcella Gesare Ogutu of Kemera.

The cortege leaves Kisii Level 6 Mortuary on Thursday 5/312020 for viewing at Friends-Kiamokama from 10am.The procession will head to their Riangabi home where there will be a holy mass starting 4pm.

The funeral service and mass celebration will be on Friday 6/3/2020 from 11am before the body is finally laid to rest at Riangabi village, Riangabi sublocation, Kerera Location, Kisii Central.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Michael Okuku Muleke. Michael had been battling cancer and diabetes from 2019 before his passing on 21st Feb. 2020.

Son of the late Peter Ndege and late Anna Nekesa. Husband of Pascalia Malenya and Catherine Arlene. Father of Flora, Annette, Joseph, Andrew, Emmanuel, Sheila, Laura, Peter, Babirye, Kato and Aziz. Brother of Margaret Congo, the late John, the late Martin, the late Charles, and the late Alfred. Father-in-law of Mathew Musyoka, George Ayoma, Christine Lwabi, Caroline Moraa, Eric Otieno, Grandfather of Bruce, Natasha, Ariana, Neema., Stephanie, Gabriel, Sonia, Yolanda, Alicia and Adrian. Uncle of Sila, Mary, Vivian, Moses, Harry among others.

The cortege leaves Unliver Central Hospital Mortuary Kericho on Thursday for night vigil at his home. Michael will be laid to rest in Mudembi, Budalangi Constituency, Busia County on 7th March, 2020.

Wife of John Kipchumba Komen and loving mother of Anthony Kipkemboi Komen (AAR), Carolyne Chepchirchir Komen (Samasource), Terri Chemutai Komen (Trade and Development Bank), Judy Cheruto Komen (DD Studio) and Molly Chepkoech Komen (Transnational Bank). Mother-in-law of Susan Mwangi (Egerton University), Vincent K. Kimosop (Sovereign Insight), and Geoffrey Ronoh (OfGen Energy). Dotting grandmother of Mark Kiptum, Jasmine Celesta, Raphael Kipkemoi, Joseph Kiptoo and Adriel Kandagor

Sister of Peter Wanjugu Wamiti, Francis Njoroge Wamiti, John Ndichu Wamiti, Patrick Chege Wamiti, Richard Karanja Wamiti and Maurice Ngsanga Wamiti (late).

The funeral planning meetings are taking place daily at home in Nandi Hills and Kaptagat. The Nairobi meetings are taking place at Cardinal Otunga Plaza Annex 7th Floor (John Paul II Hall) from 5:30pm-8:00pm.

She will be laid to rest on Saturday 7th March 2020 at Chepkero, Kaptagat, Uasin Gishu County.

There will also be a requiem mass in Nairobi on Thursday 5th March, 2020 at International Christian Center ICC-Nairobi West Campus from 10.30am-1:30pm.

Burial meetings are being held at Nairobi CBD Tumaini house 5th floor from 6.00 to 7.30pm, at their home in Chuka, Tharaka Nithi and at their family home in Kiawambogo village in Kangema every evening.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Funeral Home, Thika Road at 7.00am for burial in Kiawambogo village, Rwathia location in Kangema Muranga County, on Saturday 7th March 2020.

He was a former football player Kakamega Motcom FC and an employee of Ministry of Public Works Kakamega. Grandfather of Mercy, Zeddrick, Yvonne, Jade, Ethan, and Jeanne. Great uncle, friend, and mentor to many.

The body leaves Kakamega Referral Hospital on Thursday, 05/03/2020 for mass at St. Joseph’s Cathedral Kakamega. Burial will be on Saturday, 07/03/2020 at his home in Likwiro village. (KEFINCO Estate).

Brother of the late Njambi Koigi, Leah Wambui, Racheal Wanpru Kiragu, Hannah Mukuhi Ngethe (Kitale), Ruth Njambi Earnest (Elburgon), the late Wathiari Waweru, Karanja Waweru and Ngigi Waweru. Grandfather of Mbugua’s, Njeri’s and others. Great grandfather of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his home in Lanet Nakuru near Lanet Posta from 4pm for prayers and {lateral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral home on Friday 6th March, 2020 at 8am for funeral service and burial at his farm in Lanet Location near Lanet Police Post on the same day.

Beloved wife of Dr. James Mwendwa Munyithya of Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (JKUAT), Department of Physics. Mother of Faith Mwende Andati (Mwea Agricultural Development Centre (MIAD)), Kennedy Mutuku (Trance Technologies, Thika), Carol Nthenya ((JKUAT), Agnes Mwendwa (JKUAT) and Jackline Mwendwa (Muthale Girls High School). She was a mother in law to Patrick Andati and Yvonne Wangeci. She was sister of Faustine Muthoka, Fredrick Nyamasyo, Mary Nduku and Ann Nthenya. She was a sister in law of John Mutua, Jane Ndunge, Muasya Munyithya, Angeline Musyawa, Annastacia Nthenya, Dorcas Mumo and Peter Kilonzo. She was blessed with three granddaughters: Michelle Mueni, Juliana Nthenya and Hailey Mueni.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Comfort Grill (former Swan Hotel in Juja town) from 530 PM and the family home in Mbiuni.

Burial will be held at her home on Saturday, 7th -March 2020 in Manzuva Village, Nyaanyaa Sub-location, Mbiuni Location, Mwala Sub-county, Machakos county.
