Loving wife of Charles Manegene Karuu. Daughter of the late Mohammed Kairaga and Grace Njoki. Sister of Elizabeth, Margaret, late Njeri, Kabui and late Mwai. Mother of Bernard Mwangi, Sammy Kariuki, Beatrice Wanjiru, Catherine Nyaguthii, Jane Wangechi and Margaret Waithira. Sister-in-law of Geoffery Gichangi Karuu, Dr. Stanley Muthii Karuu and Jane Karuu Ndanyi.

The cortege will leave Mt. Kenya Kerugoya mortuary on Friday 31/1/2020 at 8.00am followed by a funeral service at ACK Faith Church Kirimunge from 10.00am.

May the Lord grant her eternal rest. In our hearts you remain forever.

Wife of George Muchoki Kageni of Kihuri village, Gaikuyu sub location, Magutu ward, Mathira East Sub County, Nyeri County. Daughter of the late John Kiunuhwa Muriithi and Julia Nyakaro Kiunuhwa. Mother of Jennifer Kimondo (Formerly Habib Ag Zurich Bank), John Muchoki (Ernst & Young), Daniel Muchoki(Qatar) and Grace Muchoki. Sister of Wairimu, Wanjiru, Nyawira, Nyachomba, Martin Muriithi, Nyaguthii, Kaboi, and late Muriithi, Wanjiru, Wanjiku, Kahiu, Muringo and Nyachihi. Mother-in-law of Lincoln Kimondo, Rosebell Maina and Jane Kageni. Grandmother of Lilian Kimondo, Gichaga Kimondo, George Kimondo, George P. Muchoki, Judy Gathoni and Cloe Gathoni.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and burial arrangements at Kihuri village starting 4.00 pm and Tumaini House, 5th floor room 5D Nairobi from 6.00 pm.

The cortege leaves Jamii hospital mortuary Karatina on Saturday 1/2/2020 at 8.00 am. Funeral service at her husband’s home Kihuri, Gaikuyu starting at 10.00 a.m.

On Saturday the 1st of February, 2020 we shall celebrate the life of Kenneth Njogu Katembo, son of George Katembo Njogu Munene and Sarah Anintter Abunge Kocko who passed away on 24th of January 2020 after bravely battling Leukemia for 2 and a half years.

Loving brother to Aura Katiwa Katembo and Alvin Kocko Katembo. Grandson of the late Kenneth Njogu Munene, Katiwa Munene, the late George Oremo Kocko and Ruth Atieno Ouko. Nephew of Amina Munene, Kathukya Munene, Susan Kocko, John William and John Mark. Until his demise, he was a student at Saint Mary’s school Nairobi.

The cortege will leave the Lee Funeral Home on Saturday 1st February 2020 at 8:00am and proceed to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Upper Hill Ward next to CITI Bank for his memorial service at 9.00am.

My little boy yesterday, my friend today, my son forever. Rest in God’s loving arms Njogu until we meet again.

Brother the late Vincent Njoroge, the late James Kariuki Samuel Mwangi, Sophia Nyamathi, Nancy Wambura. Uncle, Grandfather and Great grandfather, Friend and mentor to many.

The cortege will leave Mt Kenya Funeral home on 1st Feb 2020 at 8.00am for funeral service at AIPCA Riakiania Church and thereafter at his burial at his home Iriani village, Ndia, Kirinyaga.

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will, that we announce the promotion to glory of June Mercy Mwihaki of Eldoret town, Kihuga Square (West). June was a teacher at Union Primary School Eldoret who went to be with the Lord on Thursday 23rd January 2020.

She was a daughter to the late Ruth Ann Kuria (Kamanda’s family), a beautiful granddaughter to Mary Mwihaki Kamanda and the late Samuel Ngugi Kamanda.

A sister to the late Sheilla Wambui, a mum to Dion Ngugi of Chebisas Boys’ High School, a niece to Virginia Wanjiro (London), Monica Ndeti Kamanda, (Eldoret) Joseph Kamanda, (Eldoret) and many others.

A cousin to Susan Wangoi, Dennis Mwangi, (London), David Ngugi ( Germany), Precious Hellena Mwihaki ( Eldoret )and many others.

Friends and family are meeting daily for prayers and financial support at Eldoret Kihuga Square (West) from 5.00 pm daily.

It is with a heavy heart that we sadly announce the sudden passing of Jacob Simatwa of Endebess, Kitale-Kenya and a member of the Kenyan community in the United States.

Jacob died on January 24th 2020 while living in St. Louis, Missouri-USA in a house he shared with another roommate. He spoke with friends and went to sleep that night but never woke up in the morning.

The Funeral committee in the United States met on January 25th 2020 via teleconference call and received preliminary information on the death and committed to lead a fundraising effort to repatriate the body back to Kenya following his family’s plea.
We are sincerely appealing to the Kenyan community and well-wishers in the United States to assist in raising funds to send Jacob’s body back to Kenya.
Prior to his death, Jacob was jobless and with no insurance coverage nor any personal reserve cash in the bank.

Daughter in law of Rahab Wanjiru and the late Muiruri Njuguna of Wamagana village. Sister of the late Francis Mbataru, Veronica Muthoni, Jacinta Nyawira, Cecilia Mukami, Peter Ndiritu, Kiruthu wa Nyambari, David Gitahi, Gaudensia Wangechi, Joseph Thumbi and Mary Njeri. Sister-in-law of Josephine Wanjiku, Alice Muthoni, Laban Wamatu, Joshua Mwaura, Simon Githaga, Jane Njeri, Bud Mbiyu (Chairman Juakali Kamukunji).
