Brother of Festus and Faith Njogu, Veronica and Anastacius Gicobi, Late Francis andJane Nderi, Lydia and Fredrick Waweru, John and Beth Kamara, Henry and Jane Chomba, Pius and Miriam Gachoki, the late Caesarand Doreen Kamuri, Hellen and Zakayo Kariuki, Perminus and Nancy Githinji and Sophia and Peter Karimi. Brother in love of Jane, late Asenath, Beatrice, Lucy, Patrick and Bancy. Uncle and Cousin of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 4.30pm at his residence in Kiarigi village, Kirinyaga County for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kibugi Funeral Home on Tuesday 28th January 2020 at 8.00 am to Difathas Catholic Church for mass and later to Kiarigi.

Prayers and funeral arrangement meetings will be held as follows: -Friday 24th and Monday 27th January 2020: Family residence, Nairobi from 5:00pm. Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th January 2020: Nairobi Baptist Church (Old Sanctuary) Ngong Road from 5:30pm.

The memorial service will be held at Nairobi Baptist Church on Thursday 30th January 2020 from 11.00 am.

The funeral service will be on Saturday 1st February, 2020 beginning at 11:00am at the family home in Kyawango Location, Mwala Sub-County, Machakos County.

Daughter in-law of the late Joseph Mithamo Wachira and Esther Gathoni Mithamo (Muhuni) & Margaret Wambui. Mother of Mary Wanjiru, Joseph Mithamo, Meshack Theri, Josiah Gathuthi, Angela Muthoni, and Alex Karuitha. Grandmother and auntie of many. Mother in law of the late Anthony Githuku, Abigael Njoki, Margret Wambui, Emma Wanjiru, and Leonard Salasya.

Sister of the late Richard Karuitha, the late Lucy Njeri and the late Grace Waithira. Step daughter of Florence Wambui Theri. Step sister of Josephine Wanjiku Maina, Nelson Mwangi, Stephen Karuitha, Pauline Njeri, Rose Njoki, Alice Wamuhu, Moses Kagechu and Joyce Muthoni. Sister in-law of Josephine and the late Charles Githaiga, Dr Lucy and Muthui Kariuki (CEC Nyeri County), Pastor Purity and Bishop Theuri, Wanjiku and lrungu Maina, Washington Wachira, the late Njogu, Mercy Njeri, Catherine and Diana.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from Thursday 23rd at IBIS Hotel Karatina starting at 6.00pm and at their home in Rongai Naromoru.

The cortege will leave Jamii Nursing Home on Tuesday 28th January 2020 at 9:00am for the funeral service and burial at their home in Rongai Naromoru, Kieni-East subcounty, Nyeri County from 11:00am.

He was beloved husband of Leah Kirigo Njuguna. Son of the late Barnabas Gachanja and Dorcas Muthoni. Father of Edward Wambugu/Jane Wambugu (Colombia Global Centres), Dorcas Muthoni (USA), Eng. David Gachanja/Eunice Wairimu (Cooper K-Brands Ltd) and the late Newton Gachire Njuguna (Safaris Manager SKYLINK Arusha). Brother of Lawson Gachire, the late late Isaac Githuku, the late Jimmy Wanderi, Prof. Muigai wa Gachanja, Gilbert Mwangi (USA), Perry Kamanda, the late Wanjiru Njoroge, Helen Njeri, Leah Wambui and Naomi Kimata. Grandfather of Henry Njuguna Wambugu, Zahara Kirigo Ness, Ayanna Nyaguthie Ness, and Mia Kirigo Gachanja. Uncle, mentor, colleague and friend of many.

Daily family prayers are being held at the Luke Hotel (Roasters) from 5pm on 23rd, 24th and 27th January.

He will be laid to rest on 29th January, 2020. The cortege will depart from KU Funeral Home at 7:00am for burial at the Family Home in Kiangige Village, Gatanga, Murang’a County at 10:30 am.

The cortege leaves Mbagathi Hospital Mortuary on Friday 24th January, 2020 at 2.00pm and stay overnight at her home in Highrise, Block D2, house number 13. There will be a memorial service at 3:00pm at her residence in Highrise.

The body leaves for the burial on Saturday 5th January 2020, at 4.00am for Bomet County, Kipsonoi, Chebango Village.

There shall be a main fundraising event on Sunday the 26th January 2020 at Maasai Discovery in Kitengela from 3.00pm and on Tuesday the 28th January 2020 at Garden Square from 5.00pm to offset hospital bill and funeral expenses.
