It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mzee Joseph Kitili Munyao which occurred on 19/11/2019 at Nairobi while Undergoing Treatment at Nairobi Hospital after a Long illness.

Son of the Late Munyao Nthei and the Late Mukai Mulonzya. Husband to Daina Kitili. Son in-law to the late Muinde Muasya and Mbalu Muinde. Father of Joel Kitili of Ministry of environment (Former DIG Kenya Police), Late Jerusah Kathini, Serah Daniel, Mutindi Francis, Juliana Hosea (Kenya Police), Late Muinde Kitili (GSU), Kasyoka Kitili, Mwende Makau (Administration Police), John Kitili (KDF) and Munyao Kitili. Brother of the late Mbaluka Munyao, late Mulatya Munyao, late Kiilu Munyao, late Mulinge Munyao, late Syindu Munyao, late Mumbe, late Mwinzi Munyao, late Mukamwiu, late Mutave, Mutia Munyao and Kalua Mutua.

Father in-Law of Salome Joel, Daniel Kitonyo, Francis Masila, Hosea Muchunu, Meshack Makau, Fridah Muinde and Grace Kyeva. Grandfather to Patrick Kathini (KDF), Felix Kitili, Kennedy Mbandu (Safaricom), Amina Francis (Kenya Police), Steve Masila, Harmony Matei, Sharon Ndinda, Mercy Muinde, Steve Muuo, Alvin Muchunu, Sharon Musangi and Adriana Kathini. Uncle to Mbalu Ngui, Willy Mwangangi, Peter Kiilu (Texas USA), Rev. Daniel Kasina, Mary Maalu(Kengen), James Kiilu and many others. Brother in-law of Thungu Muinde, Ngui Muinde, Timina Kalee (London) among others.

Burial Preparation Meetings are being held at ACK All Saints Cathedral and at Tassia Gardens Restaurant, opposite Bristol Park Hospital, off Nyayo Estate gate B road, at 6pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Saturday 30th November 2019 at 6:00am for the funeral service at ACK St. Barnabas Nthilani and thereafter burial ceremony at his home, in Nthilani Village, Lower Yatta Sub-county, Kitui county.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of our beloved Mum Janet Mukite Wekesa on 16Th November, 2019 in Nairobi after along battle with cancer.

Daughter of the late Saul Chelekesi of Bakitanga clan and the late Racheal Nabulumbi of Batasama clan from Chwele, Bungoma County.

Beloved wife of Nathan Wekesa Nakitare. Mother of Sarah Wekesa (KCB), Dinah Wekesa and Samuel Musee Wekesa (ABC Bank).

Mother in-law of James Muyala (SRC), Joshua Wabwoba (Silentnight) and Redempta Kimiti (PRC). Grandmother of Tuzo, Wesley, Jasmine, Racheal amongst others.

Twin sister of Reuben Wekunda, sister of Janelyn, Jane and the late Zipporah. Sister in law of Risper, Joan, Moses, Ruth, Grace, Selina Daniel, Joseph and Ben. Cousin of many, niece of many, senge and friend to many.

A major fundraiser is scheduled for Tuesday 26th November, 2019 at the Nairobi Railway Club from 5.00 p.m.

A requiem mass will be held on Wednesday 27th November 2019 at friends church Ngong road at 11.00am.

The cortege will leave chiromo mortuary on 28th November 2019 for their rural home for an overnight stay. Burial will be on 30th November 2019 in Mukhe village of Misikhu friends, Webuye west sub county, Bungoma county.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Lt. Col (Rtd) N. M. Wasomi (former Director Kenya Army Band) which occurred on 18.11.2019 in Nairobi.

Son of the late Simon K. Wasomi & late Marian A Wasomi. Step son of the late Celestina S. Wasomi. Brother of Sophia, Gaitano, late Augustine, Alfonse Wasomi, late Robert, late Nangira, Sylvester, Late Makokha, Dester, Wilhelmina and Mary Wasomi.

Loving husband to Joyce Wasomi formerly of Kenyatta University. Father of the late Ssgt E Wasomi (KN), P Wasomi (Red Cross), Charles (Lecturer JKUAT), Florence Wasomi, Lt. Col Maurice Wasomi (KMA), Habiba (Stanchart) Edgar (Dental Technologist) & Fridah (Interior Designer). Father in law to Evelyne (PPFA), Lt. Col (Rtd) Jacinta (Red Cross), Feisal (Businessman) & Patricia (Brookhouse School). Grandfather to Nicodemus Mukonia Wayne, Karen, Ken, Joy, Nicole, Kathe, Kenan, Leshan, Nashipae, Nathan, Neema & Nigel. Wasomi Great Grandfather to Ella.

There will be a fundraising on Tuesday 26.11.2019 at All Saints Cathedral from S.00pm.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Wednesday 27.11.2019 for a Requiem Mass at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church Langata Barracks at 2.00p.m.

Burial will be held at his home at Burumba in Busia County on 30.11.2019.

Father of Alice Wanjiru Wachira (Kiambiriria Primary), the lace James Wagura, Stephen Mwangi (Board Member-NuPEA), Charity Wanini Wainaina (Ruai), Eshbon Muturi, Phylis Wairimu (Karo Primary), Peter Kariuki, (KenGen) and Laban Wanyaga (Buruburu Police Station). Brother of the late Eshbon Muturi, Laban Wanyaga and the late Phyllis Wairimu Wahome. Father-in-law of Elijah Wachira, the late Jane Wachuka, Dr. Regina Mwangi (Dedan Kimathi University), Peter Kariuki (CID Headquarters), the late Sabina Kambua, Agnes Njoki, John J Mwangi (UAP/OLD Mutual Insurance), Rhoda Nyambura (Naivasha), Rose Karimi (CMS Ruiru). Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his home kanuna Village, Kirichu, from 3.00pm. Concurrently, there are also ongoing meetings at Buruburu Full Gospel Churches of Kenya (FGCK) Nairobi starting from 6.30pm to 8.00 pm.

The cortege will leave Nyeri funeral home (Outspan) at 8.00am.Thereafter, Burial service will take place at his home in Kanuna village, Kirichu Sub-location, Kiganjo Location, Nyeri County on Wednesday 27th Nov 2019.

It is with deep sorrow and acceptance God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Thomas Mwaura Mwangi born 4th April 1967 (Teacher St Mary Girls’ High School lgoji) which occurred at Kenyatta National Hospital Private Wing on 16th November, 2019.

Husband of Lucy Rwamba Mbogo and a dad of Eric Mwangi and Collins Murimi.

Son of the late Elijah Mwangi, Johanna and Agnes Wanjiku. He was a brother of John Maina, George Karanja, Peter Njuguna and Josephine Wanjiru.

The cortege leaves Kyeni Funeral Home for burial on Monday 25th November 2019 at 8:00 am and thereafter he will be laid to rest at his home Kathageri-Kathari Sub-Location, Kifumburi village.
