It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Lilian Mbova (Stockholm). Lily passed away on Wednesday, the 30th of October, 2019.

Daughter of the late PS Sammy Mbova and the late Anastasia Mbova. Lily is survived by a son, Kennenth Kioko Mbova. Sister of the late Kenneth Kioko Mbova, Captain Michael Mbova and Captain Emmanuel Mbova (KQ). An aunt of Shakira, Samara and Francis.

Friends and relatives will be meeting at Ngong Hills Hotel on 12th and 13th November from 5.30 p.m for burial arrangements A Requiem Mass will be held in honor of Lily on 14th November from 10.30 a.m. at St. Austin’s Catholic Church, St. Mary’s School, Lavington.

A final Celebration of mass in honor of Lily will be held on 16th November at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Makindu from 12p.m. This will be followed by burial rites at the family home in Makindu.

The Lilian Mbova Fund has been set up on MPESA to assist with burial arrangements. Paybill no. 723760, the A/C Number is your name.

Daughter of the late Hezekiah Ndiangui and Sarah Nyambura. Loving wife of the late Jackson King’ori Njuguna. Sister of the late Isaac Ndiritu. Sister-in-law of Hannah Muthoni, the late Wangari Taiti, the late Rev. Onesmus King’ori, the late James Muchemi, the late Stanley King’ori, among others. Doting mother of Pastor James Njuguna, Beatrice Wanjiru, Hezekiel Macharia, Joseph Gachara, Margret Wangari, Sarah Nyambura and Esther Wambui. Mother-in-law of Teresa Njuguna, Irene Macharia, Asenath Gachara, David Mwaura, Peter Ndumia and Austin Kung’u.A grandmother, great-grandmother, auntie and friend of many.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Kirai Village, Mahiga, Othaya from 3.00pm and at Norwich Union Building, Nairobi, from 6.00pm daily.

The cortege will leave Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan Hospital), on 8th November, 2019 at 8.00am for a funeral service at AIPCA Kamoko Church (next to Mahiga Girls) at 10.00am.Thereafter, she will be laid to rest at her home Kirai village.

Daughter of the late Samuel Matheka and Agnes Kavisi. A loving mother of Romeo (St. Joseph’s Kitale High School) and Chris (Makue.ni Premise academy). Sister of Milcah, Janet, Catherine, Sylvester and Emmanuel.

The cortege leaves Nairobi Women Hospital Mortuary (Adams Arcade) at 6.00am on 09/11/2019 to her home in lkuuwa village, luani Location, Makueni Sub-county for funeral service at 10.00am.

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of our beloved, Eric Waweru Waikwa (Ricky).

Together with Jamila Kachisa Hassan, Ricky was father of Nadeen Waikwa Waweru and the late Nasra Wamaitha Waweru. Son of Geoffrey S. Waikwa and the late Zipporah W Waikwa. A much-loved brother of Irene Waikwa, Lucy Waikwa, James Waikwa, Evelyne Waikwa and Ciiru Waikwa. Brother-in-law of Charles D. Omondi and Susan Mokora. An uncle of Jeremy, Hawi, Liam, Ethan, Angelo, Halley, Kenza and Christopher amongst many others.

Meetings are being held at Holy Family Basilica from 5th November to 8th November starting from 5.30pm to 8.00pm.The funeral will take place on Saturday 9th November, 2019; at the father’s home in Kigetu-ini, Kiharu, Muranga.

Son of Rosebell Wambui Kinyanjui of Spokane Washington USA. Brother of Ian Kinyanjui. Grandson of the late Fredrick Kinyanjui and Elder Grace Njoki Kinyanjui (PCEA SGM), Kinoo. Nephew of Charles Kamau, Antony Kinyanjui (Ras Antoh) of Worcester, Massachusetts, USA, Kinjo Mama Kim (UK) and Edith Wambui.

Prayer meetings are being held daily at his ancestral home in Kinoo, Kariango Kiambu County, every evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm.

The cortege leaves Lee Funeral Home on Tuesday 19th November 2019 at 9:30 am followed by a funeral service at  home (Kariango 87) at 10:30 am and thereafter, he will be laid to rest at his family graveside.

Brother of the late Nderitu,the late Wambugu, the late Nyokabi,the late Wangu, the late Wairimu,and Francis Ndirangu. An uncle, cousin, grandfather, friend, in-law of many. He will be dearly missed.

The late Charles Ndegwa will be laid to rest on Friday 8th November 2019 at his home at Kiondweini village, Ngorano Location, Nyeri County at 10:30 am.

Sister of Dominic Njeru (Isiolo Barracks), Michael Ngare Gatiti, Fr James Gatiti, Samuel Ngoci Gatiti. Sister of the late Theresa Muthoni, Dorothy Njoki, Damaris M Gatiti. Sister-in-law of William Ngune (Ellie’s Wines and Spirit, Rongai). Sister-in-law of Rosemary Ndegi. Aunt of Wincate Njoki Ngare and Fredrick Mureithi.

Purity Wanjiru Nyaga (Alice Wine and Spirits, Mlolongo). Daughter of Boniface Nyaga. Wife of Francis Mwangi Kiringu. Mother of Snaida Muthoni, Veronica Njeri. Sister of Evelyn Wawira Roslyn Igoki and Henry Ireri.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers at Connection hotel Mlolongo, Cascade Restaurant Thika (Silvester Njuguna) and Ellie’s Wine and Spirit Rongai.

He was a member of Kibusien-Tarkok-Ilkotileni clan.

Son of Mr. Sammy Kipsamo, and Pastor Judy Kipsamo of Kenya Railways, brother of Mrs. Rachael Jepkorir Ndegwa of Kenya Wildlife Service Nairobi, Tracy Jepkoech Kipsamo of Faulu Kenya Litein and Felix Kandie Kipsamo of Technical University of Kenya Nairobi. He was fiancé of Lin, loving father of Leilah Jepkemoi and uncle of Victor Njuguna Ndegwa.

Grandson of the late Mr & Mrs Joel Kipsamo of Siliboi Ainabkoi and the late Mr. Chemonge and Mrs. Rael Tungo Bowen of Muserechi, Baringo County. He was nephew of Laban, Simon, David, Wesley, Enock, Jacob, Daniel, Andrew, Kirwa and Davies. His aunties are Dinah, Miriam, Esther, Eunice, Charity, Mercy and Shirley. Also nephew of Agnes, Carolyne, and Viola. His uncles included Fredrick, Dominic and Rodgers of Muserechi Baringo County.

The Cortege will leave Nakuru War Memorial Hospital Mortuary on Saturday 9th November 2019 at 7.30am to Siliboi Farm Plot No. 70 Ainabkoi East Uasin Gishu County for prayer service and burial.
