It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved mother Emelda Nyang’au Ontweka which occurred on 28/10/2019 at The Nairobi Hospital after a hard-fought battle with cancer.
Beloved daughter of the Late Okemwa Omoori and the late Biyaki Okemwa. Devoted wife of the late Yuvinalis Ontweka Nyamwange. Co-wife of Hebisiba Nyaboke Ontweka. Loving mother of Mary Biyaki, Joseph Ontweka (SCB), the late North Nyamusi, Christopher Nyabuto, Florence Ogwecho, Hellen Bwari, Isaac Newton Ontweka (BBK),Wattson Mbaka Ontweka and Damacline Banchiri. Step-mother of the late Charles Ontweka, Esther Mogutu, James Maera Ontweka, Thomas Maracha Ontweka, Sabina Ogwetho, the late Francis Nyaniwange Ontweka, the late Teresa Joseph Ondari, Morara Ontweka, Ludia Obuba.
Mother-in-law of Rael Bosibori Okemwa, the late Trusilla Nyabuto, Beatrice Moraa Newton, Sarah Mbaka, Bascaria Miruka, the late Dorm Maera, Rachel Moracha, Janes Nyamwange, Edna Morara, the late Naftali Mogusu, Anyona, the late Onyancha, Otondi, Richard Kerosi. There will be a main fundraising of offset medical and funeral expenses on Tuesday November 5th, 2019 at Holy Family Basillica, Cardinal Otunga Plaza and Annex, Room St. John Paul II, Nairobi.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home, Mbagathi Way on November 11th, 2019 for home.
The burial is on November 12th, 2019 in Nyagenke Itabago Village, Gucha Sub-County, Kisii County.
