With God’s grace and humble acceptance, we announce the untimely demise of our daughter, mom, sister and friend, Beatrice Chemutai Ngetich. Until her passing, she was working at JKIA Suzanne Duty Free after a long career at Kenya Duty Free and Diplomatic Duty Free.

Daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Francis Ngetich. Mother of Eugene & Susan, Sister of Joseph, Raymond, William, Festo, Fredy, Japeth, Sammy, Ben, Victor, Irene, Flora, Nancy & Chela and the late Kevin. Grandmother of Christoph. Mother-in-law of Vincent. Daughter-in-love of Phoebe and partner to Hussein. Granddaughter of the late Sebi Kitur & Elizabeth Tabutany and the late Mr and Mrs Gabriel Ombuna. You will be fondly remembered and cherished by your Uncles, aunties, cousins, Nephews, Nieces, Grandson Christoph, Friends and Colleagues.

Friends and family are holding evening meetings at her home in Syokimau. A mini harambee will be held on Wednesday 30th October at 5.30pm at her home in Syokimau and another one on Thursday October 31st, 2019 at Antonio Grill, behind Holy Family Basilica starting 5.00 pm.

Her body will be laid to rest on Saturday 2nd November 2019 in Chemugusu village, Kapkugerwet Ward, Ainamoi Constituency, Kericho County.

Wanjiku was a dear niece to Munuhe Kanyuira, Wairimu Murage, Mwangi Githaiga, Lucy Wanjiru Mathenge, John Mwane Mahinda, George Gicharu, the Late Alice Njeri, Peter Kimana, Lucy Siameto, Jane Mbira, Samuel Njuguna, Henry Iluoria, John Ndurigu, Peter Gikera among others. She was a dear auntie, cousin and friend to many.

Friends and are meeting daily at her parents’ home in Kasarani from 4:00pm to 7:00pm and a parallel meeting will be held at PCEA St Andrews Church from Tuesday 29/10/19 to Thursday 31/10/19 from 5:30pm to – 7.30pm for prayers and funeral arrangements.

Wanjiku’s Life Celebration Service will be held on Friday 1/11/19 at 11:00am at CITAM Valley Road. Nairobi.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Mortuary on Saturday 2/11/19 at 7:00am for the final send off at the family’s home at juja Farm at 10.00am.

Family and friends are meeting at his farm Kigwandi Mutoigu, Nyeri County (3.00pm) and Nanyuki Emess Hotel (5.30pm) daily for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege will leave Out Span Funeral Home on Thursday 31st October, 2019 at 9.00am. Funeral service will be held at Ithenguri Catholic Parish at 10.00am. Later the body will be buried at kigwandi mutoigu farm.

Grandmother of the late Ngetha, Nyambura, Ngatia, Njau (Mathenge’s), Nyambura and Mumbi (Njau’s) Ngetha, Mwangi, Nyambura, Mathenge and Wanjugu (Muraya’s) Kenji, Ngetha, Gichinjo (Kenji’s) Gathoni, Ngetha, Ritho (Gachihi’s), Ngetha Njoki, (Njoki’s) Kamonde, Ngetha, Wachira (Kamonde’s), Gathoni and Ngetha (Mugo’s). Sister in-law of Florence Wanjiku Gachene amongst others. Mother of the late George Muchene, Jane wahu Ngugl, the late Leonard Kimani, Nancy Wanjiru, Leonard Kamau, Alice Mithika, late David Njoroge. Nelly Wairimu, Elizabeth Mbuthia, Caroline Waithira Finnstrom and a Special daughter Mrs Lucy Gachichio. Step-mother of late Margaret Wahu Gathegu, late James Ndungu, Jane Mwando, late Eunice Njeri, late Leonard Kamau and late Ben Mungai. Mother in-law of Barbara Muchene, Catherine Wanjiku.
