On a sad note we announce the passing of Charles Mbugua Nderu.

Son of the late Albert Nderu Karoki and Peninah Wambui Nderu. Step-son of Peris Nyambura Nderu.

Husband of the late Joyce Njoki Mbugua. Father of Jane Wambuierni. Susan Nyambura,AliceWanjiru, Mary Njeri, Eric Nderu, George Gachihi, Kihuna Mbugua, Mercy Wangari,Alexander Gichanga, the late Eric Mbugua and Christine Njeri. Father-in-law of Peter Kanyagia, the late John Thuo, Eng. Stephen Karuga, Anthony Muchugi, Alice Waithera and Jane Kihuna. Grandfather and great-grandfather of many.

Step-brother of the late Hannah Gathina, the late Charles Mbugua, Martha Wanjiru Kamanujoseph Ng’ang’a, Lucy Muthoni, Mary Wangari, Paul Waweru, John Gitau.

Son-in-law of the late George Gachihi and Damaris Nya.mbLira. He was a brother in law of the late Stephen Njenga, Geoffrey Njonge, the late Mary Njeri, the late Hannah Mumbi, the late Elizabeth Mweru, Naomi Muthoni and the late Gladwell Wanjiru.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his residence in Donholni, Sunrise Estate Phase 3 from 3.00pm and at the family home in Kambaa Village, Lari near DC’s office for funeral preparation.

The cortege will leave Uplands Funeral home on Wednesday, 5th November 2025 at 8:00 AM.
The funeral service will be held at ACK St, Barnabas Church, Kambaa at 10:00 AM, followed by burial at his home in Kambaa Village, near DC’s office.
