He was the. beloved son of the lace Kimundi Somba and Veronica Kimundi.

Beloved husband of the late Josephine Kalevu and Ann Mheleete. Father of Patrick Kimundi (Mashru), Matthew Mulonzi (Jendie Automobiles), Dr. Catherine Mbinya (Tawa Sub-county Hospital), Paul Somba (Kaumoni Boys) and Jane Muthoni.

He was brother of Francisca Mukui, Boniface Mbilo, late Michael Kimondiu and the late George Ngwava. Son-in-law of the late Mulonzi Mutuku and the late Lydia I Mbusu.

Father-in-law of Grace Kimundi, Maureen Tito (Ladnan hospital), Daniel Mwangangi (Ministry of Lands), and Catherine Mwende.

Grandfather of Brian, Kalevu, Ngumbau,Adrian, Elam, Ivan, Ilya, Josephine, and Lameck. Brother in law of Regina Kimundi, the late Zipporah Kimondiu, Serah Ngwava, Grace Mulonzi, Ann Obadiah, late Norman Mulozi among others.

Uncle of Tom, Mulwa, Maria, Mweku, Mwende, Ndoti, Johnson, Carol, Mamwe, the late Sila, Nguma,Wanza among others.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home-Machakos for mass and burial on Thursday 6th June 2025,The funeral service will take place at Kitivo Primary School followed by burial rights at his home Mukaa Sub-county, Kasikeu Location, Kitivo Village.
