Charles Nyasura Oisebe (Uncle Charlie)

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Charles Nyasura Oisebe formerly of National Council of Population Development which occurred on 26th March 2026.

Husband of the late Jane Kingoina.

Charles was the son of the late Manasseh Oisebe and Omongina Biliah Bosibori. He was the son-in-law of the late Josiah and late Ebesiba Kingoina.

He was a doting father of Mathew “Rabin” and Brenda Nyasura and the late Mark Omwega.

He was brother of the late Joyce, James, Jane, Kenneth and Robert Oisebe. He was brother-in-law of Irene and Alice Oisebe, the late Ateya, Kerama, Tabitha kangwana, Ruth onyancha, Mary Nyambo, Dinah Onchagwa, John Bitoyo and Peter Mongare.

Uncle of Sarah & George, Fred & Grace, Sidney, Titania, Wesley, Trevor, Tomi, Sweeney, Judd, among others.

Grandfather of Sean, Zariya, Gladys and Fane among others.

He was a cousin of the Manasseh’s, Manyaras, Omwenga’s, Maiko’s, Onchoke’s, Bwonda’s, Onkoba’s, Momanyi’s, Nyangau’s, Monari’s, Mokua’s among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily in Owashika 234 and Metamaywa, Nyansiongo, Nyamira.

A Fundraising will be held today, 7th April at Owashika 234 at 5.n. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday 8th April at Lavington SDA Church,Vanga Road starting from 3;00 pm.

The body will leave Umash Funeral Home on Thursday 9th April at 8:00am for Nyansiongo, Kisii The burial service will take place on Friday 10th April at the family farm in Ribwago Metarnaywa, Kisii.
