It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Charlotte Chebet Koech formerly of Murdoch University Australia which occurred on 2nd January 2026 after a short illness.
Daughter of Jonah Koech and Jane Tanui (Kenya Pipeline-Eldoret). Sister of Cynthia Chemutai (Western Australia) and Camilla Westley (Western Australia ).Sister-in-law of Erik Westley (Western Australia).
Granddaughter of the late James Kirwa, Elizabeth Kirwa, Susan Kirwa (Kapchemuigut) and also of the late Philip Tanui and Pauline Tanui (Kapnaiyo). Niece of Edwin, Julius, Clara, Jane, Emmy, Lt Col L K Koech, Lilian, Henry, Everline, Kennedy and Nathan.

The funeral arrangements are ongoing and a fundraiser will be held on Wednesday 07/01/26 at home in Kabenes starting at 2.00 pm.
The cortege will leave Eldoret Hospital on Thursday 08/01/26 at 10 am for a requiem mass service at ACK St Mathews Cathedral and thereafter leave for Kabenes for an overnight stay. Burial will be on Friday 09/01/26 at Kabenes,Soy sub county, Uasin Gishu County.
