Husband of Bridget Olunya, father of Clive Adhiambo (Nyawara Girls),  Marrion Shelkher (Simenya Girls) and Vivian Daisy.

Son of the late Mzee Heron Olunya and the late Gaudensia Odera. Brother of the late Alex obiero, the late Christine Awuor, the late Patrick Okumu, Lucia Aoko, Jacktone Omondi, Opiyo Olunya, Awino Olunya, Owino Olunya, Nyawawa Otunya, Obiero Olunya, and Ombala Olunya.

Brother-in-law of Millicent Omondi, the late Margaret Akula, the late Nyaramba, Everline Akai, Rashid, Jerald, Justus and Dan.

Uncle of Japheth, Eric, Zachary, Basil, Simon, Nicholas, Shady, Lilian, Junior, Steve, Solo, Betty, Enocha, Ochieng, Leah, Opindo and Jane.

Nephew of the late Joshua Okola, Charnes Opindo, Obiero, Adipo, Kefa and Madara.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home on 3rd October, 2025 for burial to be held on 4 October, 2025 at his home in Masanga Village, Kodiere Sub-Location,Wes’ Alego Location, Uranga Sub-county, Siaya County.
