Cllr. Joseph Musyoka Munyambu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of our beloved dad Cllr. Joseph Musyoka Munyambu which occurred on 10th August, 2019 at Mwingi level (IV) hospital.

Beloved husband of Lydia Wanza Musyoka. Brother of William Munyambu (Rtd clinical officer), George Munyambu (Umoja petrol station-Kitui/Mwingi), Campbell Munyambu (Business man-Mwingi), Syunzau, Kalunda, Mwalale, Tabitha, and Mutuo among others. Beloved dad of Lucia Sila (Ruai Girls sec. school-Nairobi), Rev. Leonard (Director Sharon school-Mwingi), Luka (Kitui County Government), Lenah, Lazarus, Livingstone (NBK-Kitui) and Laban (office of the senator-Kitui county). Father in-law of James Maithya (NIS-Nairobi), Monica Munyambu (St Paul’s Kalinditi sec), Egidiah (Kivou sec), Sharon (Mboru primary), Judy (safaricom), Lilian, Muthoni and Diana. Grandfather of Sila Judith ‘Advocate’, Andrew, Lawrence, Lilian Mwende (Golden Africa-Djibouti), Sharon, Samuel, Lynda, Pendo, Sydney, Tessy, Justice, Lyon, Lyan, Venessa, Malaika, Ian and Leslie. He was brother in-law of Rev (Dr.) Solomon Muthukya, Kitengu, and Ndutu among others. Uncle of Arch (Dr.) Gideon Mulyungi (MP. Mwingi Central), cousin of Solomon Kitungu (The National Treasury), Antony Kitungu (KenGen), Paul Kitungu (American Embassy, Nairobi), Stephen Kitungu (Sub-county Director of Education, Yatta), Lt. Col. Martin Maluki and Samson Mutai (Kenya Power-Nairobi) among others.

Relatives and friends are meeting daily at his rural home Kalisasi, Kwetu dishes/butchery-Mwingi, Kafoca-Kitui, JT café-Kitui and Jamiat Central Hotel-Nairobi from 6:00 pm for burial arrangements.

A major funds drive will be held on Thursday 22nd August, 2019 at Jamiat Central Hotel-Nairobi from 6.00pm.

The cortege leaves KU mortuary on Saturday 24th August, 2019 at 6:00am for burial at Kalisasi village Mwingi central Constituency-Kitui County.
