David Kahiga Githui

We announce the passing to glory for David Kahiga Githui.
Son of the late Eustace Githui Kogi and LoiseWanjiku Githui & the late Shelmith Wamuyu Githui.
David Kahiga was a husband of Nancy Wangui Kahiga, they were blessed with children: Eng. LoiseWanjiku & Kamau Kuria, Eustace Githui Kahiga & Agnes Muia, Leah Nyawira Kahiga and Kevin Kioni Kahiga & Mercy Kong’a.
He was a brother of Ruth & the late Joseph Kogi, Jennifer & Simon Nyutu, Irene & the late Michael Munyingi, Peris & Lawrence Wachira, Anne Nyachomba, Margaret & Francis Muhoro, Margaret Mumbi, Charity & Reuben Kimondo, Shiffira Muthoni, Susan & Charles Chege, Peter Gakenga, Isaac Kamweti,Wangu Githui & Timothy Ndikwe, Mercy Waithera, Zelipha Nyaituha & Charles Ng’an’ga, Lydia Muthoni & James Munyingi.
David was a son-in-law of the late Peter Kioni Warugongo and Loise Nyawira Kioni. He was a brother-in-law of Grace Wambui Kioni, Dr. Warugongo Kioni & Alice Warugongo, Dr. Leah Kirumbi & the late Prof J.K. Kimani, Mary Wangari & the late Ken Colledge, Rahab Kinyaniui & Charles Kinyanjuid Ng’ayu & Dr. Margaret Ngayu, Prof. P.Ndirangu & Anne Ndirangu, Esther Mwiyeria & the late Napthali Wachira, Rhoda Mbuthia & Dr. Solomon Mbuthia.
avid was a grandfather of Anastacia Kamau, Anna Leyna Kamau, Anerlisa Kamau, David Githui, Charles Githui, Logan Kioni. He was an uncle & a friend to many.
Family and friends are meeting for funeral arrangements in Nakuru (Naka Home) on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4.00pm, Nyeri Mathira- Ngorano – Kiondvveini Village daily from 4.00pm and in Nairobi at St Andrews Hall I on Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday from 5.00pm.
Memorial service will be held on Wednesday 26th November 2025, at 11.00 am at PCEA Neema Church Nakuru.
The cortege leaves Monalisa Montezuma, Kabati on Saturday, 29th November 2025 at 6.00 am for body viewing at Jamii Hospital at 8.30 am, thereafter proceed to Ngorano Polytechnic for the funeral service and burial.
