Remembering Dad
December 29th 1939 – January 8th 2010
10 years ago, you went to your forever home to be with the Lord. No more pain and full restoration. It has not been easy without your physical presence but through the pain of missing you, we have each discovered strengths we didn’t know we had. Strengths that could only have been discovered through self-reflection in remembrance of you, your life, humour, laughter, your principles, integrity and unconditional love for family far and near. This is what you modelled for us. Your love has kept us together.
We have learned to love and work with each other. We have learned to take care of your dear wife, our precious mother. We have learned to encourage and root for each other in every step taken. Our family is united Dad, unity and respect abound. Thank you for your love. We thank God for giving you to us.
I know you watch over each one of us and are proud with what we are becoming. We bless the Lord because this parting is only temporary, we shall meet again soon. Jesus said it, we in believe Him. God bless you our darling Dad.
1 Corinthians 13:13 -“And now these three remain: faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love”.
