Beloved husband of Alice, Lydia, late Florence and Stellamaris. Son of the late Makumbi Kituku and late Elizabeth Mbuve. Brother of Ann Kiloko, Kathike Nzine, Mwania, late Kalungu, Sammy and Paul Makumbi.

Father of Philip Mutinda (Kenya Police), Daniel Mutuku (Mlolongo), Agnes Nthenya, Hon Joyce Kamene (Women Rep Machakos County), Margret Nzioki (TSC HQs), Leonard Mutile (Mlolongo), Jackline Mueni (USA), Charles Makumbi (Mlolongo), Davidson Mutisya, Eunice Kasyima and Annstacia Nzisa (Strathmore University).

Friend and relatives are meeting daily at All Saint Cathedral in Nairobi, 3DS in Mlolongo and Old T Tot in Machakos, from Monday to Thursday.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home in Machakos on Friday, 23rd August, 2019, at 9:00am for prayer service and burial at his home at Mbaani village, Muthetheni in Machakos County.

The Lord gave and the Lord has taken. Blessed be His name.
