With humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the passing on of Dinah Nyaengu Okong’o which occurred on 24th June 2025 at Aga Khan University Hospital.

Daughter of the late Stephen Nyabwari Moseti and the late Wilkister Mogiti Nyabwari.

Beloved wife of Daniel Okongo Omweri. Mother of Maj. Rtd George Okong’o, WO2 Gerald Oigara, Fredrick Nyabwari, Irene Nyambeki, Risper Nyoteyo, Janet
Nyabonyi, Pauline Moragwa, Dominic Onyancha and Erick Moseti.

Mother-in-law of Anne Vannice,  Purity, Peter, Evans, Richard, Joash, Everline and Martha.

Sister of Charles, the late Drusilla, Esther, Norah, William, Jane, Susan, Jerusha, Alfayo and Jacob.

Aunt of Mellen, Benson, Nyamoko, Bishop Samwel, Douglas, Derrick, Inspector Anyona, Oscar, Caroline, Boniface and others.

The main fundraising will be held virtually on Tuesday, 8th July 2025 at 7.30pm.

Daily burial arrangements are ongoing at her home in Mwoigara Village.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nairobi on Thursday, 10th July 2025. The burial will be on Friday, 11th July 2025 at her home in Mwoigara Village, Bomonyama Sub-Location, South Mugirango, Kisii County.
