It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Dr. James Kuria Maina (Mwalimu) of Naivasha.
Son of the Late Donald Kaigua and the Late Rebecca Wanjiru. Loving husband of Stephanina Wangai Kuria. Brother of Samuel Mbogo, late Rahab Wairimu, Ruth Njeri, Diana Wanjiru and Geoffrey Waithaka. Brother-in-law of late Ireri, Ruguru, Rieme, Michael, Njue, Njoki and Margaret. Son-in-law of Leah Mubea Njeru. Father of Caroline Wanjiku & Edwin Gitahi, Denis Maina & Caroline Wanjiku and Charles Njeru. Caring grandfather of Mitchelle Muthoni, Gabrielle Wanjiru, Delaya Kuria, Nathaniel Kihara and Niara Wangai.
Family and friends are meeting for prayers and burial arrangements at his home in Kabati Naivasha and Pyramid Hotel Naivasha.
The cortege leaves Jamani Funeral Home, Naivasha on 8th January 2020 at 8:30am. Funeral service will be held at All Saints Anglican Church Naivasha and thereafter burial at his farm in Unit farm (Gwa Kairu), Naivasha.
