It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Rev Canon Dr. Shadrack Jackim which occurred on 28th December 2019 at 4:30 P.M after short illness.

Beloved husband of Margaret Christine Andeso, father of Geoffrey Owen Okong’o, the late Esther Auma, Susan Ogolla, Rev. Bernard Owuor, and Tom Dick Owuor. Father-in-law of Sheba Owuor, Dan Ndong’a, Dr. Erick Ogolla, Josephine Owuor and Vivian Owuor and a loving grandpa of Brian, Christine, Becky, Ian, Eric, Allan, Mikal, Ashley, Shadrack, Nadia, Rachael, Esther, Jesse, Grace, Jeremy, Amelia, and Amanda. Brother of the late Jennifer Nyamwata, Hesbon Agong’, the late David Muga, Kephas Okong’o, Phoebe Oketch, Dr. Beatrice Bonyo, the late Milkah Juma, Amos Otieno, the late Margaret Akoth, Chief George Okong’o, and the late Dinah Aluoch. Brother in-law of Reuben Okeyo, Late Daudi Ndong’a, Charles Ochola, Richard Yala ,Samuel Mariita, Washington Bonyo, Samson Oketch, Fredrick Nyamwata, Dorothy, Judith, Grace, Benta, Elizabeth, and Ruth.

Thee body leaves nightingale millimani mortuary for a requiem mass at ACK New St. Stephen’s Cathedral Kisumu on Thursday the 9th January 2020 at 9:00am followed by a stopover at ACK St. Luke’s Pap onditi and later a mass at ACK St. James Rae at 1:00 pm.

The burial service will be presided over by the Rt. Rev. Dr. Joshua Owiti Ouma of Diocese of Maseno East on Friday the 10th January 2020 at his home in Gem Rae, Nyakach sub-County.
