Dr. Peter Maina Waihenya

We regret to announce the death of Dr. Peter Maina Waihenya, formerly of Waihenya chemist and owner of Market Mail, Karatina following a long illness bravely borne,

He was husband to Joy Waihenya.

Son of the late Wilson Ngirna Waihenya and the late Lydia Kagechi Waihenya.

Father of Sandra Wangechi., Emma Waihenya and Yuri Waihenya.

Brother of Karen Njoroge, Rachel Gitau, Dr. Terra Waigwa, the late Dr Dan Kamunya, Mary Wangari, Carol Mbaki, and Margaret Gachambi. Step-brother of Michael Wangari, Jack Wachira, and Nancy Njui. He was uncle, cousin and friend of many.

He was son-in-law of the late Mr & Mrs. Okello from Uganda. Brother-in-law of Julie, Jackline, Opiyo and Dr. J.C.

Friends are meeting daily at PCEA, K.aratina Church Hall from 4.30 pm. Meetings in Nairobi shall be held on Monday 6th and Tuesday 7th from 5.00pm to 8.00pm, at Allamano Center Consolata Shrine, Westlands room M01, and at Milimani Estate Kiganjo at 4.30pm.

The cortege leaves Jamii Hospital Mortuary, Karatina, at 8.00am on Wednesday 8th October 025 Funeral service and burial will be held at the family farm in Milimani Estate Kiganjo on the same day.
