It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Mwalimu Edward Machani on 8th November 2025, after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late John Machani and the late Agnes Moraa.

Husband of Florence Kerubo. Father of Marvin, Diana,Tyson, Gloria, Brenda, and Chrismark. Grandfather of Graca, Agnes, Edward Junior, Alex and Violet.

Brother of Rose, the late James, Nixon,Wycliffe, Sabina, and the late Ombati.

Nephew of the late Mark, the late Andrew, the late Momanyi, Ombese, James and others.

Cousin of Chief Lawrence, John, Magdalene (St Judes), Zaccheus, Dominic, Peter and others.

Uncle of Jane, Cliff,Yvonne, Linda, Machani, Agna and others.

Son-in-law of the late Nyambega.

Father-in-law of Gladys, Damaris, James and Brian.

The cortege leaves Christa Marrianne Mortuary on Thursday, 27th November for a requiem mass at St. Charles Lwanga Cathedral followed by burial on Friday, 28th November 2025 at his home in Nyamage Village, Kisii University.

May his soul rest in eternal peace.
