it is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Elisha Humphrey Odhiambo Anyango that occurred on bth June 2025in New jersey, USA.

He was the son of the late Mzee Washington Anyango Oduwo and Mama Zilpa Anyango of Bonde Wayendhe, South Sakwa location, Bondo Siaya County.

Father of Muriel and Michelle Anyango of USA.

Brother of the late Hon. Gordon jalang’o Anyango, Elizabeth Atieno Ochieng, Canon Janette Oduor, Jane Pamela Anyango Gregory, Philip Oduwo Anyango, USA.

Brother-in-law of Rebecca Anyango of Sweden, Advocate Michael Ochieng Odhiambo of Kisumu, Eng. Bernard Oduor, Jason Gregory and Pauline Anyango all of USA.

Uncle of Michael Omondi Anyango and Catherine Anyango of Sweden, Christopher Moses Anyango of Nairobi, Glenn Anyango, jaso Anyango, Gabriel Anyango, John and Lillian Ocheche, Rose and Mwangi-Nganga, Sophie and Duncan Wesonga, Ulda Nereah Anyango, Suzan Auma and Silpa Akoth; Emmanuel Oduor, Zilpa Oduor, and Stephen Oduor, Boaz Oduma Owuor; Daniella, Gabriella and Joshua Anyango, USA.

He was an uncle to many nieces and nephews, a cousin to many including the greater Wayendhe clan.

The body is at Lee Funeral Home and viewing will be at 12pm, the same place on Thursday, 17th July.

He will be transported to his home in Sakwa on Friday, 18th July 2025 for an overnight vigil. He will be laid to rest on Saturday, 19/07/2025 at his ancestral home in Sakwa Wayendhe, Bonde Village, Got Kopolo, in Bondo Siaya. F
