Eng. Kenneth Edward Mcharo Shako
It is with great sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Eng. Kenneth Edward Mcharo Shako of Shako Kenya Ltd.
Son of the late Hon. Juxon Levi Madoka Shako and Keziah Patience Wanjala Shako, son in law to Beatrice Wanjiru Njuguna and the late James Wilson Njuguna.
He was the loving husband to Rev. Dr. Dorothy Wanjiku Shako, doting father to Dr. Kizzie Shako, Jaxon Levi Shako, and Beatrice Wanjiru Shako. He was the father in law to Captain Fredrick Malu, and grandfather to Levi Shako Malu and Angel Aurora Malu.
Ken was the brother to Aggrey Shako, Mercy Mwajambia, Bessie Mwasina, Mary Githegi, Shali Mruttu, Christina Kamau, Roger Shako, Brian Shako, and the late Maggie Wambari. He was the brother in law to Juma Mwajambia, Isaac Mruttu, Kamau Karogi, Dorcas Shako, Sammy Niuguna, Willy Njuguna, Louis Njuguna, Njoki Njuguna, Fred Njuguna and to the late Sylvia, Wambari, Mwasina, Githegi, Mumbi and Phyllis.
Family and friends are rneeting daily at his home at Kendor House, Lenana Road, Nairobi County, for prayers and funeral arrangements.
There will be a memorial service on Tuesday 27th April 2021 from 12noon-1.30pm at the All Saints Cathedral.
The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home on Wednesday 28th April 2021 at 9 pm. The burial will be held at the family home of Mwasui, Wundanyi Town, Taita Taveta County, on Thursday 29th April, 2021 at 12pm.

I knew Ken when I was still a kid, I’m so saddened by his demise.
His family was my neighbour at Mwasui and also even in Nairobi
I knew whole Shako’s family though I never met Shako himself.I met his wife the late Keziah Patience Wanjala.
I knew all their children, but mostly Aggrey.I also met Maggie.
May Ken’s soul rest in peace.
