Engineer Alfred Yiro Yieke

Sunrise: 3rd May, 1956 Sunset: 25th March, 2026 It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Engineer Alfred Yiro Yieke, which occurred on 25th March at 943 am at the Bloom Hospital in Nakuru City.

Engineer was the beloved son of the late Mzee Simeon Yieke Odhiang’, late Mama Wilfreda Olero, and late Mama Monica Akello of East Yimbo Location, Magombe Village.

Brother of late Dr. Gerald Yieke, late Engineer Joseph Awiti Yieke, Peter Akello, ,,,ojo, late Mary Aloo, John’ Odhiang’, David Onduru, Martin Midega. Cousin of jokaOyanda, joka0dongo and jokaMuranga.

Engineer was the beloved husband of Professor Felicia Yieke of Uyoma Kokwiri, Ogango Village.

Son-in-law of late FrederickAkumu Midega and late Bertha Okebe Midega of Uyoma Kokwiri. Brother-in-law of Midegas (Florence, late Fridah, Joe; Butch, late josephat, James, Jonathan, Justus, late Flavia, Japheth), Betty Mikwaya, late Phoebe Yieke. Clarice, Irene, Millicent, Beffry, Nelly, Grace, Karen. Sange of Carey Odero and late Shem Okong’o.

Engineer was doting father of Joan, Lennox, and father-in-law of Sharon Aswani; loving foster father of Gracie and Denis Odero, Eve Awuor; Cynthia and Joseph Ombam, and a great friend of Clinton Piyo.

Daily prayers and funeral arrangements are ongoing at his home in Nakuru (NAKA Estate) and Magombe Village.

Cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home, Nakuru, on Friday, 10th April 2026, at 800 am for his house in NAKA and thereafter for the Requiem Mass at St Augustine’s Catholic Church in Nyarnonye (Yimbo) at 4,00 pm, Engineer Yieke will be laid to rest on Saturday, 11thApril 2026, beginning 9,00 am at his home in Magombe village.
