It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Erick Mwiti Kaaria (Sadam) which occurred on Wednesday 3, December 2025.
He was beloved husband of Lucy Kathure Mwiti, a dotting father of Megan Mwendwa and Aiden Koome.
Son of Francis Kaaria Kioga and the Late Janet Kaaria and Joyce Kaaria. Brother of Justus Munene, late Geoffrey Mugambi, late Martin Muthuri, Michael Kimathi (Kalulu), Mary Makena, Regina Kathure and Bridget Gakii.
Brother in law of Lucy Mary Munene, Purity Kimathi, Elias Murithi, James Njonde, Bernard Mutuma, Timothy Gitonga, Emily Kathambi, Doreen Kanana and Patrick Mutuma.
Beloved uncle of Muthomi, Chris, Kawira, Njogu, Mutai, Ntinyari, Waithera, Nkirote, Terry, Kendi, Raymond, Lanisha, Mike, Salma, Leon and many others.
Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Ukombozi Estate, Ruiru and at his rural home, Kiamaiga Village, Uruku Location in Meru Central District.
A Requime Mass will be held on Monday 8, December 2025 at St. Francis of Asisi Catholic Church in Ruiru from 4:00 pm.
The cortege will leave KU Funeral Home on Thursday 11, December 2025 at 5:00 am for his rural home at Kiamaiga. The burial service will be held at Baitigitu Primary School grounds from 10:00 am. He will be laid to his final resting place at their ancestral home in Kiamaiga Village.
